  1. Dude. She said she agreed with you. Then the response is "chatting crap as usual". If you're not going to read it, don't quote it.
  2. People seem to be shouting at each other regardless It's cool. Not much more to say. It's a tax I don't mind and I'm glad you're not paying it if you don't like it. Win-win.
  3. Going to be tough. Short turn around time. I don't know how Willian isn't gassed. Pedro and Hazard played longer than any of us wished on Wednesday. Willian Hazard Pedro RLC Jorginho Kante Alonso Luiz Rudiger Azpi Kepa Bench: Willy, Emerson, AC, Barkley, Kovacic, CHO, Giroud
  4. Sometimes. Though not always. It's not always so simple. I'll give you an example from Canadian TV. There are countless channels that are pretty much useless. They have adverts, and I'm sure there are a couple of viewers, but not many. So, how are these channels in existence? Well, subscribers pay for them. A number of those channels are owned by Rogers Communication who are 1 of the 2 available TV providers here. You never get to just order whatever channels you want. So, if you want all of the sports channels, you're going to have to buy a package that contains all of this other dross. Subscriptions numbers go up which looks good on paper. In the UK, I'd say that only a handful of channels are subsidized by the government. They probably all start with the letters BBC. For some of that other crap, I'd guess that some of them are owned by Sky. As for the shows getting cancelled. It kind of goes both ways. Don't you wish that those shows were subsidized? If left to popular opinion and profit margins, it would all be reality TV. It's a shame that your favourite show isn't the Proms, because you'd be laughing. For the other stuff, it's straight up profits. The show is purchased from a writer for x number of episodes. If it doesn't make money off you go. One of my favourite shows "Firefly" went down like that. It's an example of something that's too good for the masses. I believe in democracy, but sometimes people are idiots. Anyway, I'm okay with the TV tax. I'm also okay with throwing away the bills. I think most people do that. Unless you have Sky in which case the gov't knows you have a TV and you're definitely going to get a bill.
  5. I'm not really against the TV licence. Sure, it's pretty easy to get away without paying it. I mean, I used to toss any correspondence addressed to the "occupant" or "resident", if it's not my name on it, it's not mine. But, it's effectively subsidizing the BBC which produces a lot of good content including the arts. So, everyone who wants Sky and Sky sports can pay for the Proms. Sure, I don't watch it, but I think it's important to have.
  6. Whenever his film producer background comes up, I can't help but think that he's so greasy, there's no way he wasn't #metoo - ing the hell out of his casting couch.
  7. Shit. Sorry about that. That's balls.
  8. I had read the past couple of pages, and I didn't see where she insulted you or your family or anyone in the service.
  9. Balls. We need AC Milan to buy him at the end of the loan.
  10. Nope. People would maybe complain about Kovacic starting ahead of either of them. But, in this case, starting RLC out of position as a winger instead of Odoi is disappointing.
  11. I fully admit to being on the Belotti bandwagon before it went veering off course.
  12. Not untrue. Though, I would say, it's not entirely about having a director that does things I (personally, because I keep saying we need a DoF) agree with, necessarily. There are some decisions and actions that I are frankly ridiculous. Like how the Courtois situation was handled, with no back up plan. You're right, we have no idea what Roman's real goals are. It just seems baffling that any plans could be to leave everything so late and apparently directionless. I think that it wouldn't just be us, most football people would find this baffling. But, you're correct, that's not down to a DoF. It would only be down to a DoF if that was what their job description (at our club) entailed.
  13. I don't think she's calling anyone a racist. You have your reasons to vote leave, just as she supported leave for her own reasons. I think she was referring to a portion of leavers who did vote leave for xenophobic reasons, and their relationship to the same portion of Trump supporters. That portion of unfortunately tarnishes everyone who did vote leave. It's a truth. In the same way that the idiot racists at our club (of which I think there's the same percentage at every club, more or less) tarnishes all of us supporters.
  14. Are we looking for shoes for Unionjack? His stuff is a bit old now, and it's been done to death, but I think some Jeremy Scott Adidas are right up his alley
  15. Yes, it's moot. I don't think it's that we just flat out won't deal with Raiola, but we won't pay his "agent fees". Hence why Lukaku is at Utd. That pretty much means that we won't be signing any of his clients. It's good in the long term because he's always angling for his clients to get a move (more agent fees).
  16. That's what I think to. I think he should definitely take a year off. But, a team like Everton, I think he'd be good at.
  17. I'm not saying we actively try to piss him off. But (and this goes for everyone) winning is the most important thing. If playing in goal was the best for the team, then he needs to get himself some gloves. Right now, he, Pedro, and Willian are our 3 best forwards. Pedro and Willian work harder defensively, so Hazard at CF with the others on either wing is our team's best line-up. We can get in to the whole, "why does he want to go to Madrid when they haven't really shown much interest?" thing is a different discussion. I don't disagree with you: Sign a new deal, put a release clause in it that shows your'e one of the 3 best players in the world, and if Madrid think you are, then off you go. But, again, that's a different story.
  18. He doesn't need to be happy. If the team is better off with him at CF, he should play there. Also, I think he's gone, so keeping him happy doesn't really matter much anymore.
  19. In regards to firing Jose: I think it really depends on who they plan to bring in. If it's Jardim or Zidane, yes. Get them in, let them see what they are working with so you now what you're after in the summer market. If you want someone who is currently employed, you'll have to wait for the summer anyway. Now, if Utd wait until the summer, then bring in Zidane or Jardim? That would be idiotic. Let's see.
  20. His passing seems to have improved: Though, he still seems to do that thing where he dribbles aimlessly in to a dead end, then turn around looking for short pass to escape.
  21. I see Radja as a B2B. Need an 8. Though, I'm not sure that's our #1 priority. I don't think Barks and RLC are good enough, but in terms of need: ST>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>AMF
  22. We need an AMF who can defend. Pogba needs to be away from Fellaini as he can't get any pitch time £40M?
  23. Full rotation, please. We've been busy, and it's going to get even busier. Full 90 for CHO, please.
