  1. ^ maybe, but it sounds to me like a dog chasing his tail. atm the so-called dead wood is doing nothing to keep us in the top 4. why should we keep 'em for another season? because they think they're still worth playing for Chelsea? and if they don't want to go... well, we should act like Juventus did with Amauri
  2. sorry, but I don't get why it would become more difficult. It doesn't matter if we finish the season 4th, 7th or 15th, the dead wood has to go with no excuses. the only thing difficult imo would be attracting quality players if we finish out of the top 4.
  3. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2105109/Frank-Lampard-wont-allow-Andre-Villas-Boas-force-Chelsea.html I know the source is meh, but still...
  4. the only problem is, Bosingwa is injured! Ferreira?
  5. they're still good players but lately they're not good enough for us, and our latest performances confirm that.
  6. atm I'm afraid WE are the easy little team
  7. at the start of the game against Napoli my dad was bitching about Lamps being benched, he was like "is AVB crazy or what??". at the end of the match he was shaking his head and muttering "he seems to have no great desire to play" I still think this is the right thing to do, or things would only get worse.
  8. Au contraire, I don't want nobody of them to think like that, because I'm sure they'll do some stupid errors that will cost us the game!
  9. from Wikipedia: In 2000, Lampard, Ferdinand and Kieron Dyer appeared on a sex video that was filmed at the holiday resort of Ayia Napa in Cyprus. Channel 4 aired a brief clip as part of their 2004 documentary Sex, Footballers and Videotape, claiming it was used to "remind the viewer that this is based on real life." On 23 September 2001, Lampard, along with three other Chelsea players was fined two weeks wages by the club for his behaviour whilst on a drinking binge on 12 September. Lampard and the others had abused grieving American tourists at a Heathrow hotel, just 24 hours after the September 11 attacks. A hotel manager stated "they were utterly disgusting. They just didn't seem to care about what had happened".
  10. I'm afraid someone among them will think "it's just a little team, easy win", play like shit and then BAM! the little team brings 3 points home.
  11. if your opinion is true, then we better sell him before we're fighting against wolves and bolton for a place in EPL!
  12. So Cole came here to win medals... it's a hard thing to do, if you play like shit!
  13. true, but Inter is another team who needs a massive rebuilding... don't forget Pep PLAYED in Italy with Carletto Mazzone, maybe he would give it a try, who knows?
  14. it won't happen NOW, because otherwise we'll have to end the season with a shortlist of 12-13 players!
  15. who, Moratti? no wait, Moratti wants Pep
  16. ecxept for maybe Brendan Rodgers...
  17. my dad suggested it would be a choice because he has a strong personality, and he doesn't care if the player is named Frank Lampard, Davide Santon or Leo Messi. And because wherever he went, he won. Milan; Juventus, Real Madrid, bla bla bla. He was meh with the England NT, I have to admit it
  18. the only namea availlable that come into my mind atm are Rafa and Sam the Eagle. Capello? higly unlikely
  19. Moratti should have sold a lot of player after the treble (Milito, Maicon just to name two), just like we should have done two seasons ago. Anyway, Adebayor is around 23m.
  20. Diego Milito? no, please. we are all complaining about an aging team, why should we buy a 33-years-old? And even if his value is around 10m, I'm sure Moratti will make us pay more than that.
  21. please tell me you meant "without selling key players, but at the same time getting rid of the dead wood"
  22. Because italian people are known to be friendly, I can assure you this is the truth
