I think with his injurys aswell that that 'holding' role will be better for him i think we have lost the tank, but think we have in him now where he can brake the play up and he just drops in when luiz goes for a wonder

Its been this way for a long time, we have not had natural width for too long, mata shouldnt be out wide he should be tucked in the middle between the lines, silva esq, and we need NATURAL wingers, sturridge thinks like a central striker, we should have been bringing new players in seasons ago and we wouldnt be in this situation now with the 'old gaurd' and player power, i dont know why after 60 min when drogba was limping around he wasnt hooked he hadnt done a lot in the hour anyway and torres looked sharp when he come on but couldnt do anything because we had lost the game from the start in the middle, we was poor in the middle where it counts and sturridge should have done better with his two chances

The thing that gets me with people slating Torres is look at the 31st of jan when he signed !!!! people was going crazy and loved the guy, now most people are on his back the media should be hung at dawn.... the media basically bully the guy nationally, then they will have a spread about a kid that was bullied on line and something bad happened its the same thing really when you think about it but thats the media all over. i stand by my words i think it comes back to the player power, and you can just imagine the players that resent torres that think they are better than what they actually are, Torres is world class you cant deny the guy dont have tallent that hasnt shown properly since he got hear... I think AVB has the players like Mata, Luiz, and a few others on side, i think its the 'old gaurd' thats not fully on board and making things difficult for him, and i think AVB has a lot to do with that, Frank and cole should of been handled abit different instead of coming in with billy big bollocks, the softer approch may have been better, AVB needs time, summer will be interesting.. the thing with Jose is tell me a player that wouldnt want to play for him ??? so IF we dont get top for and no CL the players we need wont want to come, but if Jose was hear ????? Ive been thinking about this, and im still undecided, my view on AVB is for him to stay, we need stability, we need new players, we need to stop having a plan A and no plan B, we have been worked out over the last few years and noone bar AVB has tried to do that, the man u game away, we have not seen any manager go to united like that and we was the better team and we lost and that game won me around with AVB after not being too sure when he come. Now Mourinho, is a god in his own right and while ive said id love for him to come back after reading the post and thinking about it, not sure id want him back i mean its like an ex you was are madly in love with it dont work and deep down you know it yet you keep going back and getting hurt ???? will it all happen again, fall out over something with Roman and he leaves us again ? so on that note id say no i wouldnt AVB needs to be backed see how we buy in the summer and see how next season goes, we NEED stability and i think AVB will be loved just as much as Mourinho if not more IF he gets it right, he has had a season and made mistakes, he will learn next time round and if he builds HIS own squad. Really the times lukaku has played he looked out of his depth his touch was piss poor, Torres has not got the goals we have needed granted but his ove all play has been good, his assists, i think the torres situation is due to his high price tag and the players not liking it, its that player power thing again, players thinking they are bigger than the club.

Hit the nail on the head AVB has come out (ok some things he has handled wrong) and done what none of our managers since Jose has done, we all know we need to freshen the squad in all areas, but also need to keep experiance around for the dug out scrappy away 1-0 win that will win us a title at the end of the year, ive posted this comment before, given time i think AVB will be as loved if not more than AVB, i wasnt too sure in the summer if he was the right man for the job, and i think he has handled some things wrong but he seems like the type of guy that actually learns from nis mistakes, top 4 is a must and we will see in the summer with who goes and who comes what kind of season we have, d like to see some of our youth, josh, ryan in the mix and with the right people around they will do a job, i also think Luiz will be our next captain, he is one of the very few this season that shows heart and plays for the badge..

look at most goals lampard is the only midfield player in there and thats says it all pretty much a goal scoring record that puts strikers to shame.... Lampard any day of the week, better distribution of the ball, better box to box player and all round game, gerrard scraps the 30 yard screamers just because we all know about lampard, lampard goal at the nu camp, from the by line pure class.......

Have to say can just see use slipping down the table as the season comes to an end !! i was never to sure when they got him, carlo should NEVER have been sacked, and lets not get onto Jose... but what we do need is stability, and i can see what he is trying to do but i dont think he has the whole dressing room, Malouda just does not seem up for it, i think he had one half decent season with us anyway.... AVB has openly said, lukaku, de bryne wasnt his signings, IF AVB last till the end of the season and into the summer we will know buy the new signings in the summer what kind of season we will have but.... win lose or draw CAREFREE remember there was a time we wasnt in the position we was in ............................
