Mikel got my MOTM vote, think he broke villas play up nice, neatly, simple football today. With the fixture list piling up, i think we are playing the right kind of football, dictate the pace of the game, stepped up when we needed to and got the 3 points, very slack defending on both goals and thought the villa park curse was showing its ugly head but stayed with stepped up a gear and got the win, good solid display (apart from 2 goals) got heads back together and done the job... Bosingwa isnt a bad player like most of you think on hear, he does lack in defence and ok he is a right back, BUT he is an attacking right back, and while that worked previously, with the trouble of the team lately its been high lighted. The whole team needs to take responsability for the season not just a few players.

If we have no UCL next season it will be a massive shock to the club and board and that IMO is a good thing the club inc fans have been taking UCL for granted for way too long Roman is going no where and it will hurt his pride, interesting summer a head, need to start our new project !! Ive just read what everyone has been saying and i have to be honest and think everyone is over reacting. Its going to be tough granted but its not impossible, it could still be done. BUT if we dont finish in the top 4 no UCL next season i dont think it will be such a bad thing, it will bring more hunger and determination back what we was watching before, pre roman, and early years of roman. I went to Rome in 2008 when we got spanked by roma after spanking sunderland 7 and we was speaking then that it was a wake up call and this season has been exactly that with last season showing the cracks. Either way if we finish top 4 or not the squad will get over hauled, and we are still in a strong position to sign better players, as other people have said when city was building there project, we will be building our next project, roman will not walk not a chance, i think he has alot more pride than that. I think CFC as a whole inc MOST fans we have taken UCL for granted for way too long now, and maybe a season out will do us good, bring in a strong manager, one possibley two NATURAL wingers sure up the midfield, i can see an overhaul in the summer, but not a masssive one. Today was a poor game someone made the point that spurs set up for a point and it seemed like they knew they could turn the screw and possibly get the win and it was painful to watch at times. at least we didnt lose, 5 points behind spurs are on the rocks, i can see us in the top 4 this season, and it not getting over looked in the summer the problems we have.
