  1. Not sure why that needs to be pointed out. We know managers always turn a blind eye when a decision goes against the opposition/in their favor. Nothing new here and certainly not when it involves Mourinho.
  2. But you have to ask - Is the current crop of players suitable to play Klopp's style? We wouldn't want another AVB situation like we had 2-3 years ago and there were even accusations that Klopp didn't know how to change or what to do when his playing style wasn't working anymore for Dortmund last season.
  3. But the problem is, where has that motivation gone to? It's like he no longer cares after winning the one trophy he desperately wanted - Premier League.
  4. They did but the shouts then weren't as loud as now especially when he wasn't playing for one of our direct rivals in the league. If we had brought in proper replacements, quality replacements, we wouldn't be talking about the ones we sold right now.
  5. I can understand why people are upset we sold De Bruyne, Mata etc but let's be realistic for a moment. We are only clamouring for them now because we're doing shit and they are doing well in their respective teams. No one was crying out for them last season when we strolled to the title (and mind you, players like Mata hardly shone last season). I think the main issue here isn't really about selling those players. It's more gotta do with the quality of players we brought in to replace them. We bought duds and tossed them out 6-12 months later after realising they aren't actually good at all. The mess we're in right now has exposed the lack of quality players we have in the squad.
  6. Well, we don't have our own Claude but this is a Claude-esque rant. Entertaining stuff.
  7. Go watch the 2014/15 season review DVD. On a completely different note, we, Chelsea fans, need our own Claude. Need someone to moan all the sensible things!
  8. Think they can still play decent football. They have a lot more technical and quality footballers than we do here!
  9. Unlikely to happen but think Arsenal might be a good fit for him. Perennial underachievers, no one takes them seriously, only won 2 trophies in 10 years etc. Perfect environment for him to create the siege mentality, make them mentally stronger and win big things with them.
  10. Well, at least he has matched his goal tally from each of the last 2 seasons. That's a plus.
  11. I know we are totally bad right now but if we somehow lose to Aston Villa, think I might just go and commit suicide.
  12. The error-prone Cahill has reared its ugly head once again...
  13. To be fair Alex, given the complete mess we are in right now and the part Mourinho has played in this, think it's fair to have the poll above (even if I don't necessarily like it). Even the man himself practically challenged Roman to sack him after the game.
  14. Maybe. Maybe not. Like you said, we don't know the things that go on behind closed doors and perhaps, some of the players aren't that amiable, easy-going we think they are. Just for argument's sake, what could Mourinho have done to upset the team so badly? Never mind the actual season, we have looked completely out-of-sorts since pre-season started. The signs were already there. So, something must have happened then and there already.
  15. I don't think Mourinho knows what he is saying anymore, like seriously. One minute, he says 'A' about something and the next, he says 'B' on that same subject. Only 3 weeks ago he said Loftus Cheek wasn't physically or mentally ready to play regularly - http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ruben-loftus-cheek-not-yet-10085920- and now he's practically saying he does?! He's sending conflicting messages on a weekly basis. MAKE UP YOUR MIND, JOSE!!
  16. But that's just pathetic from them, isn't it? It's like we have gone back in time and are experiencing the player power situation again, where the players decide when to turn up and when not to just so they can get the club to sack the manager.
  17. When Mourinho started talking in that post-match interview, he mentioned the need to be honest considering we're in a really really bad moment and I actually thought he was going to be honest (like actual honest) for once. But when he started blaming the referee, I thought 'oh my god, here we go again'. At this point, I think I don't really care anymore. If the club does decide to sack Mourinho, then so be it. He's definitely one of the parties to be blamed for the mess we are in right now and he doesn't even look like he knows what he's doing anymore. One minute, he hints at doing something different and the next, he does the complete opposite. Think Miguel Delaney summed up the situation perfectly. On the other hand, what has happened to the players? I mean how can they go from being the English champions to looking like players playing in the third division?! Where is the commitment, desire and passion? Even if they don't really like Mourinho, they still have a damn obligation to do well for the club in general, the fans and practically everyone else associated with the club. The performances they have put in this season have been nothing short of embarrassing. Spineless. Clueless. Mentally weak. This team seriously lack characters, characters with the mental strength and 'balls' to react strongly in dire situations.

  22. You talked about mobility and also effort based on how much distance the player covers. I pretty much addressed the things you mentioned. Well, it's clear that we have different expectations about effort. A player may cover more distance than his teammates but what's the point in that if that person doesn't do anything else to make the running count? Any Tom, Dick and Harry can just run around on the pitch. This is just like how people used to praise Torres for looking sharp, moving himself about etc even though he ultimately contributed nothing in matches.
