Ake is good but you might have overrated him there. Is he intelligent tactically to play the LWB role? Does he have the stamina to go up and down the flank all game? It's all very doubtful at this point.

The question is, are they good enough for us? They aren't bad players but fans always overhype and overrate players from our academy (myself included at times) and yet, nothing good has come to fruition.

This. If Ake is to be utilized, it should be in midfield, where he did well previously under Benitez.

Azpi was exploited aerially at Spurs and now people want another short defender in the defence? If that isn't suicidal, I don't know what is.

Can never be too sure. People get very sensitive about Hazard.

In my defence, I don't think it's overreaction. Just a case of dissatisfied with our better/best player not stepping up in the big games (that's not to say he hasn't done that previously) and Spurs away was a big one. It's also annoying to see Hazard not performing consistently, when we know he can and he's reached the age where he should be doing so. As mentioned, he can be absolutely brilliant in one game and then go completely quiet the next and to say he's been playing very well since September might be stretching it. We may have won 13 of our last 14 league games but there were games where he was brilliant and quiet during that run.

This would be a terrible move...

Being a good LWB is more than just having pace, speed, athleticism and energy. You also need to be intelligent tactically and does Kenedy possess that? It's debatable and Kenedy barely did anything special as a LB. So, what makes people think he'll suddenly be a good LWB? On top of that, is Kenedy considered to be tall? Only 1.82m and last thing we need is having 3 short defenders in the back 5 and leave ourselves exposed aerially.

That's just an excuse really. Like I said, we aren't the greatest creative or technical side out there but we aren't the worst either. Hazard already showed he can play well without Fabregas in the XI. So there's no reason why he can't do it and there's no reason for him to play well in one game and then go completely quiet in the next.

Blaming Alonso for both goals would be kind on Matic and Cahill.

That is a valid point, but only till a certain extent IMO. It can't be used to justify of how he goes from being very good in one game to being very ineffective or quiet the next (e.g the Bournemouth and Stoke games last week). We aren't great on the technical side of things but we aren't the worst either. People criticized Gary Neville when he said but if Hazard truly wants to be one of the greats in football, then he needs to do it week in week out.

Hoping we don't end up like City after losing at WHL. Won 10 in a row, went to WHL and lost 2-0 and then suffered a major dip in form over the next 15 games or so.

Champions League and Europa League can't come back soon enough. Need them to help screw some of the other sides up.

Conte has to go 3-5-2 in the big games IMO. Getting passed around and outnumbered in midfield and relying only on counters aren't going to help us at all.

Should we be concerned that we're starting to concede 2 goals in a game again?

Forget goals. Is Hazard ever going to put in great, consistent performances?

Mikel in disguise. Slow and ponderous with and without the ball and no words can describe how annoyed I am with him being so one-footed!

Another trip to north London. Another shambolic display. The winning run was always going to come to an end but the way we lost today was utterly disgraceful. No desire, no hunger, no fight and no urgency whatsoever from the players. Played like the 2015/16 side and they looked like they would rather be elsewhere. Only consolation is that we're 5 points clear and it's annoying now we have to wait over a week to see how we will react in the league!

A new, optimistic Pizy in 2017? I like the old Pizy better.

If you thought he was tetchy because of the interviewer, then you're really missing the point. He did the same in all the post-match interviews and press conference. He was already not happy before those took place. He was unhappy with the City fans, he was unhappy with the referee and he probably wasn't satisfied with City's performance either. But does that mean he should be treating the media with disdain? It seems to me that Guardiola can't handle English football and he's blaming it for his inability to adapt and deal with it. Everything has to be his way and go smoothly for him. Looking back, shouldn't be surprised with his reaction considering he did the same on several occasions in Germany.
