  1. Only stated a possible outcome. Never said we'll definitely be in 2nd before kick off vs Boro, did I?
  2. If the worst happens, we could well be in 2nd by the time we kick off against Boro.
  3. This. And I don't see what's changed all of a sudden when only recently Hazard said he's happy and settled with his family in London and the Belgian and even English media reported the same thing. I still have my doubts on Hazard staying in the long run but think he deserves more credit for his loyalty for the club.
  4. Yeah...that's their only league defeat at Goodison this season. Their home record - P17 W12 D4 L1 vs their away record - P17 W4 D6 L7.
  5. Will be relieved if the gap doesn't drop to below 4 points.
  6. That would be their home and away form. They're like 10x better at Goodison than when having to go elsewhere,
  7. A lot may depend on which Costa turns up and given our dodgy defence of late, think we're gonna need to score at least 2 goals if we want to win this.
  8. It's D-day on Sunday then. Gap at the top could be anything from 1-7 points. IF we win this, we'll win the title *fingers crossed*. Lose and hell will break loose...
  9. Kinda expected Spurs to win but that was just pathetic from Palace. Barely got into Spurs' box and their only threat came from Zaha and Townsend and even then, it's them having to dribble and beat 3-4 players.
  10. They better not have any funny ideas.
  11. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/eden-hazard-chelsea-transfer-news-real-madrid-summer-window-a7700491.html SORT IT OUT, CHELSEA!!
  12. Everton 0-3 Chelsea PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2016/17 Premier League Match 34 30th April, Sunday, 2017 Goodison Park 14:05 Kick Off (UK time)
  13. 1. Dodgy in patches but good performance overall, especially in the second half, and good win. Now for the big one on Sunday at Everton. 2. Though we are scoring goals, our inability to keep clean sheets is absolutely infuriating. 11 games without one now in the league and we've conceded at least 2 in 3 of our last 5 games (4 in 6). 3. Have we hired Scolari as one of our coaches? Our defending at set pieces in recent weeks has been so poor. Were lucky not to concede more than 1 against Southampton. Everton will be licking their lips at set pieces this weekend. 4. Not sure why Fabregas started on the right of the front 3 in the first half. Barely influenced the play offensively and defensively. So much better when moved into the midfield in the second half. Helped us control the game better too. 5. Hazard was absolutely wonderful to watch. Clearly desperate to win the title! 6. Credit to Costa today. Still looked somewhat dodgy but encouraging performance and scored TWO goals! The second was absolute sublime. Hope he carries this momentum going forward.
  14. Moses with his 165 647th foul throw-in that first half. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TEACH HIM HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY?!
  15. Nope. There's no point in gaining that morale-boosting win over Spurs and potential shift-in-momentum result if we don't carry that momentum forward and win the title. Besides, with us still having to go to Everton and West Brom, there's really no room for error in our remaining home games.
  16. C'mon manpe, you know that's not the point I was making.
  17. Newcastle and Benitez officially back in the Premier League. Wonder what will happen when it's Benitez v Mourinho again.
  18. I get your point in general but Southampton have been really average at home this season. 4 defeats in the last 7 and only 6 wins all season, 5 of which have come against bottom half sides.
  19. Didn't watch the presser but judging from the tweets that I saw, it looks as Conte will select Cahill if he recovers in time, which would be a great shame considering Ake did great on Saturday and our back 3 looked better with him in it.
  20. Big kudos to Fabregas. Has encouraged Hazard nonstop and been like a mentor. One only hopes the latter do it consistently in the long run.
