  1. Just saying from a general social media user perspective. But for the sake of the discussion, so what if it adds more fuel to the fire? Only the fans would really care. The player and whoever else are involved will just laugh it off, particularly if the player (or others) knows where he is going - whether it's to us or Monaco. Plus, there have been such instances in the past and the player never moved to the club in question.
  2. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/jose-mourinho-bemoans-premier-league-12974434 2018/19 should be fun.
  3. Maybe. But this might explain why we loaned Eduardo out. Freed up a space to be used by a HG player in the GK area.
  4. If not B2B, stick Kante in DM and move Jorginho further forward? Sarri's got a number of options to play around in midfield. As @The Skipper mentioned before, Azpi should be fine playing the Hysaj role under Sarri. Sarri should be sacked if he doesn't play two of our best players in the starting XI.
  5. The International Champions Cup. Will face Arsenal and Lyon after this, with the Community Shield thrown into the mix.
  6. Should have a stronger lineup against Inter...
  7. "You cannot do whatever you want in life" Pot calling the kettle black there.
  8. What Sarri said in post-match presser... (on performance) “Good in the first half, not so much in the second half. Lost a lot between the defenders and the midfielders. We have to improve very quickly. The result is not a mirror of the game but it is more important at this moment for the performance” (on Courtois', Hazard's, Willian's future) “I’d like to talk to a person face by face.” (on keeping players at the club) “It doesn’t depend only on me, I am confident.”
  9. Inter Milan 1-1 Chelsea (Chelsea win 5-4 on penalties) PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2018/19 Pre-Season Match 2 28th July, Saturday, 2018 Allianz Riviera Stadium 19:05 Kick Off (UK time)
  10. Yes, we all knew City were going in a positive direction - they were always gonna be under Guardiola - but that's not the point, Tomo. The point is Guardiola failed to adapt to what he had. It's all good and easier when you have the players that you want, but when you don't have them, you gotta show a different side by adapting and becoming flexible. Not saying Guardiola should have started playing pragmatic football like Mourinho and gone against his football philosophy but he could and should have tweaked his approach to ensure his team were less exposed on the defensive side of things but he didn't.
