OH MY FUCKING GOD!
-
That is a good read.
-
This is Chelsea we're talking about. We like to surprise people when you least expect it but not that I'm holding out for hope or anything like that.
-
It would be the most Chelsea thing ever if we somehow beat City on Sunday and prolong our suffering with Sarriball.
-
Okay, I'm not gonna say the players are faultless for the mess we're in because their performances have been bad at times but this talk of 'players downing tools' has become such a cheap stick to beat us with and a cheap cop-out for the manager. There is a difference between players not trying at all and players giving their all but being left exposed and helpless because of the manager throw them into a system that's destined for disaster.
-
Given the way our board work, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Marina and co. not doing their homework before appointing Sarri. They probably just thought "OH, he plays the football that we want. Let's hire him!". If they had done their due diligence, they would have foreseen the issues caused by Sarri happening and stayed away from him.
-
So they are waiting for another 6-0 thrashing to pull the trigger? What a fucking farce! If they are going to wait till then, they might as well extend it to next week after we get humiliated by Spurs as well! And oh, pray to god, we don't get embarrassed by Malmo first!
-
God bless you for still thinking it's all the players' fault and nothing to do with Sarri. But what I would say though is that it's rather ironic that you continue to blame player power when Sarri has done nothing but instigate or accentuate it. He has criticized the players numerous times for having poor mentality etc but what has he done in the following games? He played the same players again. If players know that they can play poorly and still be selected in the next game, then shouldn't the finger be pointed more at the person who selects those players? Why would players even be motivated if there's no competition within the squad? Why has Sarri not stamped his authority in the team? Why has he not made the point "If you play poorly, you're out of the starting XI"? Nobody wants to see player power but Sarri is only making it worse with each passing week!

We got Sarri two days into pre-season and he immediately took over after that. Why would someone else ran the training if we had already gotten our manager? Yeah and CHO was arguably the best performer in pre-season but was hardly ever used after that...

Chelsea 3-0 Malmo PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2018/19 Europa League Round of 32 2nd Leg 21st February, Thursday, 2019 Stamford Bridge 20:00 Kick Off (UK time)
-
Sure, we should have done his appointment earlier but this talk of Sarri didn't have the full pre-season is nonsense TBH.
-
A manager's job is to put the players in a system that maximize their abilities and hide their weaknesses as much as possible, individually and collectively. But Sarri is doing the complete opposite by forcing his system onto the players who clearly don't fit his system and he's making everyone look bad. There are some who are just bad anyway but his stubbornness is making a number of the players look worse than they actually are.
-
Indeed but what was he - or anyone else in his position - supposed to say? It means nothing these days to hear Sarri or the players talk after a defeat because it's just the same BS overall.
-
Bring him back for 3 months and then sack him again!
-
Sarriball broke another record...

The one thing I'm not too pleased about at the moment is Kepa not coming for crosses when he should. That was one thing Courtois did well for us, as much as I hate to admit it. In the bigger picture, don't think the back 4 and keeper have been in-sync all season TBH. Guess it's hard to when you do not know what the hell each person is going to do...
-
Apart from the one decent season he had at West Ham (think it was 2008/09), yeah, Zola has been poor in his managerial career.
-
Zola may be a club legend but I genuinely wonder what does he even contribute in this team, especially after seeing his Sarri-esque comments on Friday.
-
That's true but the thing is, that only happened in the second half of last season. Take that away and Conte actually wasn't that stubborn in making changes. His in-game management, especially in his first season, was great. Sarri hasn't done none any of that at all!
-
2-0 down and Sarri brings on a defender for a defender?! What was the talk about Sarri considering CHO on the same level as Pedro/Willian?!
