Sure but with the way things are going, Sarri will end up with zero trophy and a worse record than Guardiola, that is assuming he stays till the end of the season. I don't think I was pretending City were world beaters back then and no, the difference between Sarri and Guardiola is that while they both play attacking football, Guardiola is far more adaptable in his methods to achieve that style while Sarri is stuck with his predictable, one tricky pony method to implement the style. The fact that we're playing bingo with Sarri's subs each game these days says it all.

1. Did Guardiola lose 4-0 and 6-0 in the space of 3 games? 2. A win is a win but to put it into context. 6 of Sarri's 27 wins came against poor Europa League oppositions. 3. Comparing 56 games to 42 games is absolutely stupid. Playing another 14 games and I'm sure Sarri would win less than 7 games!

That's debatable. Courtois blew hot and cold when it comes to making saves and he also had a tendency to concede at his near post.

Pardon me if I'm being biased but what exactly was Courtois good at for us, apart from dominating our box aerially?

Nice to see Matt Law jump onto the bandwagon. I mean sure, we know those things are hanging over the club right now but they may or may not happen. Wrote the piece just to make our situation even worse! And oh, this talk of Hazard asking for the Madrid move will mean zilch if Real don't make the move first.

On a different note, it's absolutely pathetic to see the difference in narrative used by the media when we and Man United sack the manager. When we do it, it's because of player power and the manager gets a free cop-out. When United do it (with Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho), it's because the manager was bad and the players get absolved of any blame.

Bet those Man United lot were preaching patience when they had David Moyes... When a manager is just out of his depth, and Sarri has shown himself to be one, he's just one of his depth. Giving him all the time in the world isn't going to change that.
