The 'plays far too deep' is a bad excuse. Was just checking his average position and he has been operating in and around the center circle, which is hardly 'far too deep'. Maybe we've been spoilt by Fabregas but he didn't have any issues in playing passes short or long from high up the pitch or deeper position. Jorginho is just unreliable in that regard, to put it kindly.

It's strange to think that Germany have produced lots of talented, technical attacking players over the last decade but none of them scream consistency or have been consistent. Draxler, Gotze, Brandt and even Reus to name a few. It's almost as if the mental side of the game has been forgoed.

But when was the last time, if ever, that an English club release such statement?

Yup, it's FM 20. Werner is at his peak age 26/27 but yeah, I was shocked he was able to score that many! Have been using him as the sole striker too. I'm cautiously optimistic over Werner. I will jump down from a building if we sign him!

Have we not been tracking Dembele since his Celtic days? I seem to remember we were linked with him some years back. Could be a club's target and Lampard is on board with it, rather than a sole target of Lampard.

If you want experience, then I guess Draxler fits the bill. But otherwise, he's an inconsistent player - though not without talent - and hasn't really done much since his early Schalke days.

Why is Draxler in there? Don't think he's unrealistic by the way. Seeing rumors that he's allowed to leave in January.

If Olmo knows what's good for him, he shouldn't go to Barcelona. They have a mess of a squad and don't seem to have a clue on how to build a coherent team.
