  1. I don't think Lampard has any clue with the 4 CBs, TBH. He's making things up as they go along. Remember the reports about Christensen being sold last month? Came out to defend him and hasn't stopped playing him since, apart from the FA Cup game.
  2. I reckon any of us here could do a better job than Batshuayi...
  3. Our performances and results against United have been absolute trash since beating them in the 2018 FA Cup final...
  4. For all the criticisms Lampard has gotten this season, someone really needs to question him over the injuries. We have gotten so many this season, a number of them in training or in matches after a free week. What is he doing with them? Working them 18 hours per day!?
  5. Caballero cocked up for Leicester's 2nd goal recently but Lampard said he wasn't at fault. 🙃
  6. Lampard on Abraham, CHO and Kepa/Caballero... https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2020/02/17/team-news--chelsea-vs-manchester-united?cardIndex=0-0
  7. Nope. The last time they did was back in 1987/88 season.
  8. Either that or you bench him longer to drive home the message. Dropping him for one game and then putting him straight back in seems pointless.
  9. Another muscle injury?! WTF is Lampard doing with the players in training?
  10. In other news, Loftus-Cheek is not involved with the U23s tonight... https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/fixtures-results/arsenal-chelsea-u23s-loftuscheek-live-17763604
  11. He's just training with the U23s to build up the fitness again. Nothing was said about him playing.
  12. I know Loftus-Cheek will be playing for the U23 tonight but where did you read/see that about Pulisic?
  13. If we can't beat their current squad at home, we're in more trouble than I thought. Well, we couldn't even beat an average Arsenal side who played with 10 men for over an hour at home. So don't be surprised if we fail to win tonight...
  14. Oh Antonio. If Inter don't beat Juventus on March 1, think it might be over for them...
  15. That depends from which perspective you're looking from. Today's win over Newcastle is only their 2nd league win under Arteta.
  16. Want another indication of how shit the league has been this season? Arsenal have played a game more but they are only 7 points behind the Top 4, despite having won only 3 (THREE!) of their last 18 (EIGHTEEN!) league games (7 overall)!
  17. The Jordan Ibe money was already used/covered in the 2016/17 season spending. They spent roughly £62 million in that season and received £76.5 million in return from sales. Their highest sale across 2017/18 and 2018/19, apart from Coutinho, was Sakho at £24 million. Like I mentioned, their CL money, sponsorship deals and even the PL money etc would help. They won't start spending stupid money on players but you would imagine they can fork on one or two if they ever need it. As for Sancho, well, Nicco mentioned about paying in installments which come to think of it, it's might be a possibility and Klopp obviously has connection with Dortmund and all that. So, who knows...
  18. This. Plus, god knows how much they've gotten from their recent European runs, sponsorship deals etc.
  19. It's 50 million euros, according to this. https://www.football-espana.net/2019/07/06/atletico-madrid-confirm-alvaro-morata-deal-for-2020-21-season
  20. Well, can't they rotate? And besides, Firmino and Salah turn 29 and 28 respectively this year. You would probably expect Klopp to start planning ahead.
