I bet there people who still have not watched him and are jumping onto the bandwagon because others are doing it, because it's cool to see us linked with big name players. And as I alluded to there, if we had tried to bid 80 million for him back in December or January, when he was in poor form, how many would be going batshit over him instead of being all excited?

Heck if he had continued his poor form (no, not saying he is a bad player) from the first half of the season and we wanted to bid 80 million or whatever for him now, how many would be going batshit crazy instead of being all excited?

James might have better athleticism but he has less experience than Azpi, for example. Playing James can also backfire if his five-minute cameo at the weekend was anything to go by.

It is hilarious how everyone has jumped onto the Havertz bandwagon in the last few weeks (some have probably not watched him before) after going gaga for the longest time possible over Sancho.

Did that Ziyech deal not happen out of the blue? I remember Lampard saying generic stuff about other transfer rumors back then - like now - and nothing happened then but I don't recall anything on Ziyech. Could be wrong.

The point is, if Willian stays on, we would have practically have at least 2 players in each of the attacking position already (LW, AM/No.10, RW and ST). Adding Havertz would just be overkilled at that point. IF Willian does stay on, then I would sure as hell rather see the club spend that money on improving the defence because I do not want us to spend another season complaining about the shitty defence costing us games again and ultimately, the chance to win trophies.
