  1. But that's not a foolproof approach? Standard procedure in most/many countries is 14-day quarantine and with at least 2 tests during the period.
  2. You could say both? This summer is probably the first time since 2014 that we have acted fast on transfers, which is great. Also specifically on Havertz, we've been reading/hearing the "close to signing" update for what seems like ages now. Not that I am making a fuss, mind, and that comment was a tongue-in-cheek too. Hardly the first time I've posted that.
  3. Funnily enough, Chilwell passes backward less than Alonso and forward more than Alonso. The 2019/20 Premier League Distribution Comparison below... vs
  4. Looks like our interest in Sarr was already there back in 2017...
  5. It was moved to January 2022. https://www.bbc.com/sport/africa/53239849
  6. There's already been a number of cases reported at other clubs, not just ours - Sheffield United, Liverpool etc. And latest I saw earlier was Pogba and Ndombele have tested positive for the virus and are in quarantine. Don't even know why people went and travel anyway, knowing the risk and knowing the virus could be contracted at any point.
  7. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/08/27/eight-chelsea-players-coronavirus-quarantine/ Telegraph just reported we have 8 players in quarantine with suspected COVID19 - Jorginho, Barkley, Emerson, Batshuayi, Mount, Tomori, Abraham and Pulisic.
  8. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/08/27/eight-chelsea-players-coronavirus-quarantine/ Telegraph just reported we have 8 players in quarantine, with suspected COVID-19 - Jorginho, Barkley, Emerson, Batshuayi, Mount, Tomori, Abraham and Pulisic.
  9. Infections did spike up in Mykonos. So the quarantine could have been done just in case.
  10. Looks like he's fine? When did UK add Greece into the quarantine list? Maybe Terry got back before that?
  11. Are we still really in this territory?
  12. It's Bayer Leverkusen, not Kai Havertz FC. Pretty sure not everyone in that Leverkusen team has been called up to their national team. If the deal is sorted out with Leverkusen, it can be announced and then the medical to take place later. IIRC, that was what happened with the Werner deal.
  13. I would assume so? Don't know about Drogba but Rice didn't play in West Ham's friendly game few days ago.
  14. That's because the incubation period of COVID-19 is 14 days. The virus may have gotten inside someone but the symptom(s) may not show up until a few days later.
  15. Yeah...and they all happened to be in quarantine (not Chilwell, I think)...
  16. How Roman Abramovich fell back in love with Chelsea and was persuaded to go big again in the transfer market https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/08/25/roman-abramovich-fell-back-love-chelsea-persuaded-go-big-transfer/
  17. Looks like Mount, Abraham and Tomori won't feature in this weekend's friendly... Mount and Abraham have been called up to the England squad next week though.
  18. Daily Mail mentioned a number of players have tested positive for COVID-19 but didn't name the players while The Sun reported Pulisic, Abraham, Mount and Tomori are in quarantine but no mention whether they have tested positive or not.
