  1. Like the fact that Ziyech kept playing the passes that he did today, even when he got them wrong on some occasions. Did not let those moments deter him.
  2. TBF, Ziyech has the "benefit" of being in his best years while Havertz is still in that developing age.
  3. I don't want to jump the gun and jinx anything because we are by no means a complete team yet but did something happen between Lampard, the coaching staff and players after the Southampton game? Because the last few games and performances have been unrecognizable, for the better, from those games and performance prior to the Sevilla game. The new signings have partly helped but it feels like Lampard, the players etc suddenly just went back to the drawing board, pressed the reset button and go again. Tougher tests will come after the international break (we really do have a horrendous run of games coming up) but the last 6 games and performances as a whole have been encouraging.
  4. Although we had nothing to lose by signing Silva, I was on the fence whether he would make a huge impact for us and he has proven to be real quality for us. Along with new signings like Mendy and Chilwell, he has given the backline and team a sense of normalcy and confidence at the back, instead of the slapstick defending we saw a lot of last season.
  5. All those years of seeing Willian hitting the first man at set pieces to seeing Ziyech picking out the target almost with ease. 😭
  6. This is Sheffield United's joint-heaviest Premier League loss under Chris Wilder and the first time they conceded 4 goals in a Premier League match under him.
  7. Sheffield United may not have been in the best of form this season but considering we struggled against them badly in both games last season, that was a mightily impressive performance and result. And that was without Pulisic and Havertz!
  8. This has been said before but it's scary to think that at least 70.5 million people voted for Trump...
  9. That was never going to happen in a season where squad depth is gonna be more important than ever.
  10. Lampard on Tomori... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/nov/06/frank-lampard-says-fikayo-tomori-remains-part-of-his-chelsea-plans
  11. Still unacceptable given we were 2-0 up in that match and we gave them stupid goals...
