  1. Never mind... Lampard said Pulisic felt a "small sensation" in his hamstring and hence why he was pulled out. Will need to undergo a scan.
  2. Would be nice if Lampard starts playing Mount as one of the three midfielders in the 4-3-3. Great game today. Also had one when used there in the 4-0 win over Everton last season.
  3. Back-to-back away clean sheets after having only 1 in 21 Premier League away games.
  4. I think the lockdown doesn't affect sports. Football is still going on for example in France and Germany, despite the lockdown, at least the top divisions anyway.
  5. If the last few games are anything to go by, that 3-3 draw against Southampton may have been the game-changing result for Lampard - like the 3-0 loss at Arsenal under Conte. We are not perfect yet but we are starting to look better as a unit in the last 4 games. Also, 4-3-3 is forever.
  6. Accidentally tripped and fell down during warm-up passing. Looks like a foot/ankle problem and was able to walk off on his own.
  7. Pulisic's injury doesn't look serious? He was pissed at it for sure...
  8. What is it with us easing off after scoring first?
  9. 4-3-3? Havertz starts again while Werner is on the bench.
  10. Burnley and Sheffield United are the two lowest goalscoring sides with 3 goals so far (3 in 5 for Burnley and 3 in 6 for Sheffield United) and they are our 2 next league opponents...
  11. Yeah, Pulis' Stoke may be tougher but we still contrived to drop points against Burnley, however you want to spin it... And we do have a better record against Pulis' Stoke than Dyche's Burnley - 8 wins and 2 draws in 10 league games against Stoke compared to 6 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss in 10 league games against Burnley.
  12. And yet, we still contrived to drop points against them... IIRC, we have a better record against Pulis' Stoke than Sean Dyche's Burnley (not that it's bad but it's mixed).
  13. Doesn't the change the fact that they still took points off us, whether it's by luck or not...
  14. I guess but it doesn't change the fact that they managed to take points off us in at least one game in 2014/15, 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19. We have dropped points against them in 4 of the last 10 matches. That's basically almost half of it.
  15. Define "good record" - points dropped against Burnley or matches lost against Burnley? Because last season was the first time since 2009/10 that we did the league double over them. In the seasons between - whenever they were in the Premier League - we dropped points against them in at least 1 of the 2 league games.
  16. Well, Mourinho made 4 changes at HT and then threw the team under the bus post-match...
  17. Gonna jump the gun and say Chilwell is a potential future Chelsea captain (or at least vice-captain).
  18. Err, that's nothing new? When teams have to play every 3-4 days, the focus in between games is always focused more on recovery than training. Managers don't have much room to do training like they would want to in normal circumstances. If/when we have muscle injuries this season, it'll likely be because of someone has played too many games etc, like we have seen with other clubs.
