Mount might have the potential to be great but I feel like he's been overhyped/overrated way beyond his current ability right now. And was just thinking earlier, if this Mount had come through the academy at another club, would we go gaga and want to buy him for say 30, 40, 50 million now?

Think Fernando's post wasn't about the squad quality. I said this in the match thread, people kept trying to make excuses for Lampard after 18 months in charge of the team but are now going basically #TuchelOUT after only 1 month in charge.

Said it in the match thread, put Werner up front and he becomes what Vardy is to Leicester. You gotta find him early and play quick passes. Otherwise, he's bound to be anonymous. Again regarding CHO, people can argue till the cows come home. Until we see the next few games, we won't know what's gonna happen with CHO. Either Tuchel will look like a genius or complete idiot with that sub decision. Also hypothetically speaking, had Tuchel done what he did to CHO to say, Alonso - subbing him off after bringing him on - would anyone really be complaining about the decision? Or is everyone just outraged because it's CHO and he's young etc?

Did we see him running around, pressing and trying to create chances like Mount for instance? Don't think so and below are some of CHO's numbers: Completed passes - 7 Passing accuracy in opponents' half - 63.6% Unsuccessful crosses - 1 Chances created - 0 Offsides - 1 Tackles - 1

But Tuchel also went for one of the players who have benefitted most from the managerial change. CHO may not be an established player yet but he is clearly liked by Tuchel. This whole subbing a sub thing wasn't pretty and it generated stupid headlines on us again (never a dull moment with us) but there's no point going back and forth on this until we see what happens in the next few games. As humiliating it is to sub a sub, Tuchel isn't the first manager to complain about CHO's lack of effort etc. If this gives CHO a kick up the arse and he goes on to perform, people would probably calling this a genius move from Tuchel. If not, then, it's fair to go back criticizing Tuchel on this.

Calling his actions under Lampard "very strange and questionable" is a very kind description. 🤣 This might sound strange coming from me (lol) but the one thing I'd say about Lampard is he had the right idea of trying to get rid of the deadwoods. His treatment of Tomori and CHO was questionable but apart from that, he did the right thing by trying to get rid of Alonso, Jorginho, Kepa etc. It's a shame he was lacking in the key aspects of management, got sacked and we now can't follow through with the plan.

Hate is a strong word but seriously, who likes Alonso? His only usefulness is scoring spectacular goals out of nowhere. Otherwise, what is he even good at? I seriously don't understand how we keep picking a slow, snail-esque FB/WB while trying to compete with the very best.

Another player from the Bundesliga struggling to make consistent impact...
