  1. All the stick Chilwell got from this game and these were the noteworthy stats of his performance yesterday... 7 progressive passes - Joint 1st 3 passes into final third - Joint 1st 5 shot-creating actions - Joint 1st 2 key-passes - Joint 2nd 3 progressive passes received - 3rd 8 loose-ball recoveries - 3rd
  2. It was just one pass and then it was ruined by a stupid offside call! 😭🤬
  3. How long before you turn on him again?
  4. The thing with Pulisic is he has been clear of his injury problem since November. Not saying it's all gone or resolved but that was his last major injury. Since then, he has not shown the kind of form he showed last season, not even glimpses of it.
  5. Pulisic is really just ghosting through this season. Seriously, WTF has happened to him!?
  6. The officials really had a fucking tragic night with the handball/offside rule. There was also the stupid goal ruled out for Fulham against Spurs. By disallowing Werner's goal last night, the officials are indirectly saying players can score with their hands. But then, you have the Fulham goal ruled out for handball and it wasn't on purpose at all!
  7. Did Lampard really tighten things in defence? He only did it for Sevilla and United after the Southampton debacle. The biggest difference between Lampard and Tuchel has been the tactical acumen the latter has brought to the team (the lack of tactical acumen was arguably the biggest problem with Lampard). We looked okay under Lampard until we started playing a bunch of top half teams in December. We just looked tactically clueless in pretty much every game and all the flaws with our team shape on and off the ball etc were horribly exposed. Tuchel came in, chose a formation and has given us a tactical organization, a solid foundation not seen since the days of Conte. We now know when/where/how to attack, to defend, to press and counter press, individually and collectively. Obviously, there's still room for improvement but at the very least, we don't look like headless chickens any more the minute we come up against a half decent side and the record so far speaks for itself - we've won 2 of the 3 games against the current top half teams under Tuchel compared to just 1 win out of 9 under Lampard this season.
  8. Seems like Lamptey is an injury prone player? Hope he can sort out his hamstring problems.
  9. Still...the goal should probably be disallowed for that shit celebration!
  10. It's kinda funny how a goal or a win can make the difference here. After that 0-0 draw with United at the weekend, people were feeling pessimistic going into this. But because we scored that 1 goal, because we got the win, everyone's feeling confident again.
  11. Ha! That's what we all thought against United last weekend and look what happened, especially in the first half.
  12. Mount needs to drop that stupid dance celebration he did just before the moment above. It's so cringey!
  13. Yes and if we're going to go gaga over Christensen, then maybe the same should be done for Rudiger, who has also looked solid all of a sudden. Heck, even Azpi too!
  14. At the risk of jinxing it, ever since Tuchel took over, we're second best team in the league - behind only Man City (what a shocker!) - and have the best defence, although we are also one of the lowest goalscorers since then. 8 sides have scored more than us since Tuchel came in.
  15. He's always been decent in a back 3. I want to see him in a back 4 again before screaming from the rooftop over him.

  17. It's the end of the world when even @NikkiCFC has been converted. 🤣
  18. Oh, for sure. All I'll say now is, Werner is just fucking cursed!
  19. Think or at least I hope the style and our attacking play will get better next season but the tactical improvement Tuchel has brought in has been immense. Basically night and day when compared to Lampard's regime. Individually and as a team, everyone knows what they are supposed to do now - where to run and attack, where to press and defend, when to counter press etc. Don't think they're always right but Tuchel has also been proactive in making changes - he's made a few changes at HT, changes to help us manage games better (e.g. Kovacic for Mount today) etc even when we're leading. He's always reading the game and trying to make sure we don't lose control. These things are not like WOW but they were so sorely lacking from Lampard.
  20. Well, Sky put Lampard's cousin and mate to analyze his successor. What do you expect? 🤣
