  1. Chris Wilder will apparently be gone from Sheffield United today...just before we play them in the cup next weekend.
  2. Tuchel on Abraham's ankle problem, which may explain why he hasn't played much... I'm a bit concerned because the pain from the tackle against Newcastle is still there. It's been a long time since he's been 100% free and comfortable in training. Even if he finishes in training, I can see he isn't 100% free. I have complete trust in our medical department and they will take care of him. Tammy had to leave the pitch during the warm-up yesterday and he will get all the time he needs. It's important he feels zero pain and then we can think about his comeback. He also had a similar issue last season.
  3. Tuchel on Havertz today... The position between a nine and ten is pretty much his best position. He has the freedom to drop, to switch positions. I feel very confident with him in high positions, I don't want to have him behind the ball. He needs to be high up the pitch and he feels comfortable behind opponents, between the lines, and in little pockets.
  4. Silva suffered a setback in his hamstring injury recovery. Abraham still got the ankle problem he suffered at Southampton. Not at 100%. Everyone else available.
  5. James deactivated his Instagram account and the club social mentioned a fanpage instead. lol https://www.instagram.com/p/CMSNZr-qGCa/
  6. Just noticed that Coman only has 2 years left on his Bayern contract. Another one of those classic ploy of using other clubs to get a better contract..?
  7. I know these are just rumors and they may be BS but assuming they're not, what's up with us wanting players who has a problematic injury record? Sule, Gimenez, Coman etc. And if we want to sell the attacking players, we should be trimming down the numbers a little and not adding more to it or keeping the same amount of players.
  8. Not saying you're necessarily wrong but it's easy to sit here and tell others to ignore abuse when you're not the one getting it and especially when he's been getting a lot of racist abuse on IG, which is totally uncalled for to put it kindly. There's always gonna be fucked up people out there but one of the main issues here is these social media companies are doing fuck all to protect their platform, to make it as safe or clean as possible for people to use it.
  9. Putting an inexperienced player in defence is far riskier than playing one in attacking positions. All for bedding Ampadu, Guehi etc in but think we need a ready made defender, assuming we are going for one in the summer.
  10. Regarding RB Leipzig, it's kinda crazy that their top scorer in the Bundesliga is only on 6 goals and they're 2nd in the table, just 2 points behind Bayern WHILE our top scorers in the league are also on only 6 goals but are 4th and 18th points behind Man City.
  11. If the price is only 5 million, am sure there are takers somewhere out there. The wages would then be the issue and that's down to the player on whether he wants just to keep wandering around or go to somewhere and settle down for good.
  12. Was there any interested buyer back then? Part of the reason why we aren't able to sell these deadwoods is because Marina puts a high price on them.
  13. But not if he decides enough is enough? If we go down that loan route again, then it's probably likely that we'll extend his contract, which would just stretch this out even further and it's unnecessary. Marina just needs to admit defeat and take whatever fee we can get for him!
  14. Regardless, he needs to be sold this summer especially when his contract expires next year!
  15. Are you like suggesting he is actually good enough to play for us?
  16. But he is not a striker, no? And you said it so yourself, Werner's position is better than Pulisic's. Did you pick the wrong goal or what? His goal against City was him winning the ball in midfield and then running through to score. Am just using it as an example because you keep on saying Werner shouldn't have played so many games and that Pulisic should have played. So, was just using one of the recent lineups and switched Werner out for Pulisic. Okay...but why didn't Tuchel play Pulisic on the right? It's a much more familiar position to him than Werner. I know but as I said, Tuchel could have come up with a plan to fit Pulisic in the front 3. I don't know how many times Ziyech played Werner in against Liverpool but Tuchel could have used Pulisic and made us hurt them in a different way. And Pulisic also came on for Ziyech in that game. There is more than one way to skin a cat.
  17. Him not scoring is one thing but it's another to have someone making those striker runs in the box, especially if Abraham/Giroud isn't gonna play. Say if we suddenly play CHO-Mount-Pulisic as front 3, who's gonna be the striker? Who's gonna just have that striker presence and create movement inside the box? Everyone of those 3 likes to get the ball onto their feet. So if you have issues with Tuchel playing Werner on the left but not on the right, like he did against Everton? Mount has played several games behind the front two of Werner and someone else. Pulisic was part of that front two when he came on at Spurs for example. There's been CHO, Ziyech on the right. Tuchel could have played Pulisic there instead of say CHO but he did not.
  18. Travel restrictions. Leipzig would have to quarantine for 10 days if the game's played at Anfield.
