  1. I really don't get Tuchel's logic of having TWO goalkeepers and TWO left backs on the bench and not make room for Gilmour at the very least. Got him to stay with the team in January and yet he's doing things like this.
  2. Easy to forget that Werner was actually excellent in the last CL outing against Atletico and that he's the team's top goal contributor, despite his own inconsistency/problem. And you could argue that it's also a bit of rotation and all that because I highly doubt he'll start against Palace at the weekend.
  3. lol I don't know where you saw it and Tuchel already confirmed Rudiger will start in yesterday's presser.
  4. SUBS: Kepa Caballero Alonso Silva Kante Abraham Pulisic Zouma Giroud CHO Ziyech Emerson
  5. For UEFA competitions, always best to check their site. Lineups are always out early and the not usual 1 hour before the game.
  6. STARTING XI: Mendy James Azpi Christensen Rudiger Chilwell Jorginho Kovacic Werner Havertz Mount
  7. Assuming that includes assists as well? I don't know about the others but 48 of Abraham's career goals have come in the Championship. It's one thing to score goals consistently in a lower division, it's another to do so in a top division or at the highest level. That's one reason why people have doubts over him. And given people's obsession with just goals, I do wonder how someone like Drogba would survive in this day and age.
  8. TBF, not his fault he has that price tag put over him and he's still only 20 years old, despite the hoo-ha around him.
  9. 5 teams from the same nation can be in the Champions League. 1 of Liverpool or Arsenal need to get out of Europe to be sure.
  10. That method has been around, right? One would think the medical staff - be it ours, Dortmund's or USMNT - would have explored that option for Pulisic by now?
  11. So, it was just a scare and not an injury but this quote from Tuchel highlights the fragility of Pulisic's hamstring problem...
  12. Theoretically, I'd agree but then you could say the same for almost every club interested in him. The price would be lower next year but you would imagine every and more big clubs would then try to convince him. So either clubs go into a potential bidding war this summer or a convincing war next summer. The club wanting Haaland is one thing but whether he wants to join us is another. Plus, if we don't finish in the Top 4, we can forget about getting him. And I just remember Guardiola hinted at potentially signing Haaland yesterday. Despite what Ornstein or anyone else may say, I still wouldn't rule out City making a move on him really. This is the same club after all that were prepared to throw money at signing Messi last summer.
  13. Gilmour did not travel with the squad to Seville.
  14. If City want to avoid a bidding war, am sure the rest will likely follow suit too, especially with the price, including the agent fees for Raiola and Haaland's dad being so high anyway.
  15. As if PSG have been great themselves. They have been inconsistent under Pochettino.
  16. Pretty sure the 12 subs rule is still in place. So, all 3 will be on the bench at the very least.
  17. Everything is falling Liverpool's way in that tie...
  18. Looks like Pulisic is fine. Has turned up for training but whether he'll be risked remains to be seen. Tuchel's presser at 1pm UK time.
