Would be nicer if our attackers can be more consistent!

It's absolute nonsense if a player is choosing which competition to turn up for. Getting disillusioned from the lack of starts? Since the last international break, Pulisic has started 9 of the 14 games in all competitions, including 3 of the last 4 games and playing a total of 815 minutes. Out of our attackers, only Mount (12 starts; 1,075 minutes) and Werner (10 starts; 829 minutes) have had more starts and played more minutes in the same period.

Hmm. Don't those remember opportunities being clear cut.

You can't compare Kane with Messi because Messi is Messi. Guardiola hasn't always bought ready made players and they don't really need Kane to be firm favorites. They are always the favorites anyway and they could potentially win the treble this season pretty much without a striker.

Even so, no guarantee Guardiola will go for Kane anyway. Also, IF Messi becomes available this summer, would Guardiola go for him instead?

Maybe or he could be overplaying his cards. I mean, he stupidly signed that 6-year contract and gave his future to Levy. Have also mentioned before, if you're gonna spend 100m+ on a striker, you would be better off spending it on someone like Haaland. Kane will guarantee instant success because of his age but in terms of long term investment, he makes no sense if someone like Haaland is available. No point spending 100m+ now on a player and then potentially needing to spend big again in 2-3 years time.

Pardon my memory but can you remember any chance that Pulisic created recently should have resulted in a goal or goals? And even if you take away the assists, hard to remember him getting at the end of chances. That's without mentioning his quiet performances.

I know people keep on saying City would because they have a lot of money but they have actually been careful to not pay over the odds for a player. Their most expensive signing is Dias at only £68m, that is less than what we paid for Havertz or Kepa. It's also debatable whether Guardiola even wants a striker considering his penchant for the False 9.

But what will he do if no club comes in for him, especially with that kind of money? What if Levy will not back down?

Maybe it's because we hope (need) Spurs (to) get something at Leicester this Sunday but could Kane not have waited until after the season ends - like next Monday - to start this drama? Spurs are already in the doldrums but are still in contention to qualify for Europe. However, by coming out to say that he wants to leave now, it just kills the mood and everything else there before the final game. Imagine if they do not even qualify for the Europa Conference League at all...is that the kind of stupid ending Kane himself wants to leave behind?

But we just wore our home kit at the Etihad recently...

Delivering it in the league as well would be nice. Would have helped ease some nerves, like last season.

Can the real Christian Pulisic please stand up? Surprised no one has really talked about him. Apart from the recent Real Madrid games, he hasn't scored or assisted since the Crystal Palace game, which was more than a month ago, and he has been very, very quiet in recent games.

No way that Lewandowski rumors are true. Bayern won't sell him this summer. Next summer...maybe. It all feels like a ploy to get more money out of the club. It's just like when we were suddenly linked with Neuer not too long ago and he then got a new contract at Bayern.

If we are talking strictly about choosing a win from the next two games, then it's no brainer really. The CL final all day along. It gives us the CL trophy and qualification on top of that.
