Klopp, Conte are those emerging managers from those shadow of what Mourinho and pep used to be. Today the best of the best is Simeone. He has been able to take the positive of Mourinho style without all the negative the brings his character.

Maybe that is what he will do. Just do 3 years with United and then move on. He probably figured it out that it's not worth it to stay longer then the alloted time frame. Which is good in itself, look at pellegrini, did 3 years and that seemed like a long time. And if he does decide to go for more time, then it will be interesting to see how he adjust. Since as you guys mentioned he can't change his style and that style is only good for short term stints.

This is why I said in the past, I'm glad this season happen to us. Mourinho shadow was so much in our club that nothing we did match to what he did for us. But his second stint just completely killed that ghost and we can move forward. Moreover I agree with you, people who think Mourinho is the be all end all let me remind you that after Morinho got sack the first time many new and better managers have come out. Pep, Klopp, Conte, Pochetinno and most importantly as of late the best of the best Simeone. We will not die because one manager is gone, managers come and go. Appear in the games, and old managers get outdated and be left behind as they don't evolve with the times. The key here is short time. Mourinho style and strategy is very short termism. He did not wanted to evolve with us and because of that things was worse here then what happened at Real Madrid. So again proves the point that Mourinho was right to let go because he was a short term coach. 3 years which in today's futbol ain't that bad, but if you want to stay longer you need to come up with better then that. You have hit a point here my friend. Mourinho currently is living of his past glory. If he continues this path he's running the risk of being left behind like many great managers of past history, Capello, Arrigo Sacchi and such.

You said it, they think. But we don't have to hear much from many fans or media like we do from United or Liverpool. City winning is by far the best outcome then United or Liverpool winning.

I remember a commentator from ESPNFC saying last season when we was playing good futbol that this is how Mourinho tends to do. Do good games first half and then second half of the season revert to his pragmatic style. True to that is what we saw last season. Then as well that he tends to burn out his players after two seasons. Truly as that is what we saw. So no doubt we will see him do good, but if he wants to keep at the top he will need to spend even more money his third season or gamble more on youth which he hardly did.....

Said it before, Mourinho is all about his ego. Drogba and Terry are actually lovers of the club. That being said I'm not mad about Mourinho going to United.
