That's not necessarily true. If we buy Belhanda, shirt sales wouldn't increase too much initially. However, if over time, Belhanda became a world class player and a superstar than the shirt sales would increase drastically. So he would take longer to make the money back but would still probably bring in the same money as the likes of Hazard. Like a slow burn, if you will. I'd like to say there's no guarantee Hazard will be a great player, but deep down I know he will be. Whoever gets him will be very lucky. Belhanda seems very good too.

To be fair, our frustration of not signing Hazard is blowing his indecision out of proportion and making him seem like a big Mercenary to us. He's a 21 year old with the world at his feet. He doesn't really have any attachment to one club over the other which is why he is taking his time to pick his move. The move could make or break him. He's alluded to things, yes, but he has never really toyed with us.

Well they're 2 different things. FIFA/UEFA is (for the most part) a group of faceless men. How can it's members count for something when no-one knows, let alone, cares about them?

If Citeh misses out on Hazard, we get him. If they do get him, we get Belhanda. Hazard is better, but not by much. Belhanda could be a world class player as well. So either way it's a win-win. I can't see Hazard going to ManUre. Too many wingers already.

I think it's just another unreliable article (although Soccernet is generally reliable) Anyway whether he said it or not, he will end up in Blue. Unfortunately It'll be Sky Blue not Royal Blue.
