  1. He is more ready than people give him credit for
  2. Good news MOTM Bad news injured. Worst rumours saying it could be a broken foot or ankle. Damn internationals..
  3. Nope Borini wanted to much money and we did not want to give it to him so instead of lowering his wants to play for Chelsea he choose to leave. Stoch also wanted to leave.
  4. Kakuta starting tonight for French U21's :-)
  5. Borini left us, we did not leave him. It was the sane with Stoch
  6. Plus Ivanovic and Sturridge are on 60k and less too.
  7. With the news that Torres is injured for Bolton I'd play Lukaku.
  8. He also played there against Porto and got ripped apart by Hulk.
  9. I could not care less if they were sold.
  10. I am not as crazy on Falcao as others. Yes he can finish. But what is his link up play like? Could he score with not so good service? Does he need chances set up on a plate ala RVP? I'm not sure. Plus Lukaku is more ready than people are taking him for.
  11. And was I the only one impressed with Sturridge against Napoli. His workrate and tracking back was the best I've seem him do all season
  12. Cole and Lampard should NOT be starting for us. Amazing how so many people still want them starting every game. For the rest of this season: Cech Ivan Luiz Cahill Bertrand Ramires Romeu/Essien Sturridge Mata Kalou Torres/Lukaku And hopefully next season: Cech Ivan Cahill Luiz Bertrand Ramires McEachran Sturridge Mata Hazard Torres/Lukaku
  13. I was never excited when he signed. How could anyone have been excited for paying 50million for a player who'd been in just average to decent form for one and a half seasons. I hoped the links were just rumours. I'm not trying to say 'I told you so' because I also thought we should not have signed Luiz and now I'm one of his biggest fans. But just I still didn't understand why everyone was so happy then and I don't now.
  14. I agree, Coyle is overrated handling young players. After Wilshere and Sturridge they were heralded a 'star-making' facility but in reality Wilshere and Sturridge were already good players and would have made a good impression anywhere, the likes of Weiss and Kakuta had the talent but needed more focus, Bolton and Coyle did nothing to aid their development.
  15. http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/2/18/2808482/its-time-to-stop-blaming-poor-service-for-fernandos-lack-of-scoring#storyjump I concur.
  16. Was the best out of the attacking trio tonight
  17. Glad to see he is finally getting the break he deserves in loan spells. If he did not impress in this one he'd be sold in the summer and we would eventually regret that. I also think the same of Bruma but it does not matter so much if he does not want to play for us and also as we have so many good young CBs at the club anyway
  18. The whole team collectively was rubbish for the corner, useless blaming solely one player. Anyway Bertrand understandably looked slightly rusty but given a run of games I have no doubt whatsoever we'll see quality on the left side as we do with Ivan - Bertrand is a good player. Even against Birmingham he was better than most other Cole appearances. It does not help that team-mates ignore his runs.
  19. And I'd like to see this team with a striker who can take his chances and give them an option to pass to, not hide on the wing.
  20. It was against Blackburn and he was not awful, just average. But I agree with you, as s lone striker, his strength, hold up play and link up play will have to improve
