I know its only headline sensationalism but talks of him quitting the club early are already surfacing... if the club were to perform a miracle and pull off the transfer of Haaland, I wouldn't be surprised if he looked at leaving.
I pray daily that City don't get him.
We could possibly be looking at another Manchester domination of the league akin to Man Uniteds through the 90s and early 2000's.
Fantastic performance. Really, really happy.
My only concern is Werner... he looks completely down and out in terms of confidence.. reminds me of Torres. Let's hope he gets it back.. that chance he had was beyond easy... I could have scored that blindfolded.
This is the Havertz we have been waiting for, still want abit more from him but good half lad.
Alonso should be making that 2-0. I hope we don't live to regret that missed chance.
Overall, good half... we need another or two.
The way United play is akin to that of a team fighting for relegation. They just have better players to carry it out. Disgusting team with disgusting tactics. I can't stand that shrek headed fuck Maguire. Who does he think he is lol. He should be counting his lucky stars he plays for United.
It did improve and I'm sure it was the collapse of our free flowing attacking prowess that was a result of Frank tightening things up at the back. We were frightening when going forward under Frank at first but he couldn't find the balance of defence and attack... hopefully Tuchel will... so far he hasn't but last night showed early signs off there being a real balance. Lots of room for improvement though.
Mount was fantastic but for me Christensen was top class and gets my MoTM. Rudiger was pretty damn good too. It's amazing how well those two are playing after their antics last season. Just goes to show, you think a player is poor and there may be no way back for them but under a different manager you can see their true qualities.
