Very true, but even that aside a player has to take their chances when placed on the pitch. You wont always have an Ashley Cole(of past) or Juan Mata with you.

The vital difference is that Moses is a proven player in this league with even worse players than Marin takes the pitch with. That is why he gets more playing time with the first XI, and for good reason IMO.

Because he still has a slight chance of making the German national team if he goes somewhere he will play.....consistently. He wont do that here, and everyone knows it. Even if we ignore the people in front of him(Mazacaroses) we still have a kid on loan who plays the position he would better than him(Barring the possibility we decide to turn KDB into a pivot player, which we have no idea how it would work). I said it though. Why else would we go more for youth than picking up hulk and other established players. Hazard,Oscar,azpilizueta...ect will be immense in the future. Nobody honestly thought these kids were gonna come in and be better than the likes of City or United. Only reason we got Ba was to try to salvage the season when we had already lost the original plot.

The thing is simply thios United side were built to compete this year. Our team is one for the future. We will get better.

The thing is, and I know this is an unpopular opinion around here, but PVA simply has a higher ceiling than Bertrand. He should stay where he will get consistent playing time, but I cant be the only one who sees this even before the display today.
