China is ranked 9 places too low. A player has to be a regular player for a nation ranked in the top 70 nations to get a permit. We could appeal and get him playing though as he seems to be a legit player, and could improve the game here.

Pretty sure he would gain one if we appealed though seeing as he is recognized as one of the best players in a league, and his(poor) national side.

Why?? They have brought in managers who can get the best out of their offensive play. Its good seeing players of their quality in our league, and even better when they can push us forward with their competition. I believe a big part of us getting Pedro, and not settling for Cuadrado, was the ass kicking they put on us.

Toure, and Silva to an extent, have only been able to do what they do thanks to the foundation he has layer down in their midfield. I remember how average thee guys looked with Fernando out there last year, and the difference is night and day. Fernandinho is what their title winning season was built on two years ago, and it looks the same this season so far with the rest in shape. Silva, and even tour against the smaller sides, don't have to put much worry into defending because they have a mobile rock in the midfield. It completely changes the complexion of the team.

Where exactly would he play there? Silva is the 10 and runs the show with occasional help from Yaya. Sterling and Navas are there to stretch out the play. Sterling is safe so he would have to go after Navas spot. Is he able to play the winger role as good as Navas? Seems a waste to spend so much money on him just to play him out of position, or even worse, use him solely as a bench warmer for Silva.
