Cheers mate, i must admit i do watch a lot of Tv, especially sports and i love the build up Chelsea Tv give before European nights!

I did consider this but i thought for the cost it costs to stream live telly, is it worth it ? I have done it before and there is always a decent quality stream

Yes! Teams even outside the top 6 for instance believe the only way they can get anything out of chelsea is to park the bus, and although it is frustrating can we blame them? Its just our job to defend against their counters and try and break them down! With Barca i think we will be ok at the bridge, but having been to nou camp myself, it is not somewhere you want to go!

This is what i Love about chelsea! We show passion in big games, this is why it annoys me when people have already wrote us off against Barca! We can win! I hope you \agree with me when i say i dont think it is an effort thing as us say against teams like Wigan and Aston Villa, i think it is just we up our game against big teams. Champion teams show no mercy against the "lower teams" and thats what we have to do next season

So I have been thinking lately, I want to watch the academy and reserves games. Just want to ask, is it worth the price (£3 pounds a month) or is it just 1 hour of TV worth watching a week ? Cheers

I get what you mean and i personally agree with you, its just the uncertainty with chelsea this year. But we turn it on at Wembley, so i wouldnt be to worried! Also spurs are not playing great at the moment

Think its safe to say we need to look forward to next season, HOWEVER we can't forget with a good performance tomorrow and prehaps a bit of luck against Barca, this season could be very successful with the squad we have. But I think Chelsea are concentrating on next season, look at the early Kit launch? I personally think we will be great next season with a fresh feel to the squad, because people like drogba will have left. A new Kit, a new start, a new era !

Player-manager never works really, it ends up where the assistant just runs the team! Never seen him as a managering type really, but i suppose he is experienced. Wish him luck, but seems to me he is grabbing all the money he can out of that club (dont blame him)

He is actually extremely under rated ! He is exactly the type of player we need and he wont cost us a lot of money. He could be a bale standard player soon !

Your completely right! I mean De bruyne is coming which may help, but we havent got a David silva or modric to play him in. Don't get me wrong he isnt helping himself hiding on the wing but in some games he makes some superb runs which are just wasted just to our poor attacking minded midfielders. Mata is great, but world class, is up for debate.

I do agree with you, dont get me wrong, BUT: Chelsea are a rich club and our owner is worth over 12 billion and there is no deny buying expensive and talented players gains success, so surely we would be made not to do that ? Personally i think we need to combine buying players with bringing up the youth. A point is that Bertrand has been excellent for us recently, but he doesnt stand a chance of breaking into the first team with Cole in the team so what can you do ? My point is that you say try out youth players but none of them are good enough to be playing premiership football at the moment at a club like chelsea, give them sub apperences yes. And it must be noted youth get more oppurtuinities at liverpool and arsenal especially because they havent got as good a 1st team as chelsea!

Our youth does look promising I agree. But compare our academy with say Man United, the ratio of people actually progressing is very impressive, so although Chelsea's academy is rated highly, we aren't seeing the rewards quite yet, so money has to be spent!

I hope chelsea undergo a thorough re build in the summer. I know we have spent a hell of a lot on players (Torres 50 mill) but at the same time with the owner we have and the success he thrives I can see him splashing out. To be fair Roman is worth about 13 billion! If he payed for torres himself it would be about 0.4% of the money he had, so put it this way just because Torres has only just got started, i doubt Roman will be eating beans on toast tonight. What I am saying is to get back into the Champions league, money has to be spent, it will be intresting our approach because to get people to come when we havent got top 4 will be hard.

It will be interesting what team he puts out, whether he goes for the experience of Ferreira again and the "freshness" of Kalou. The players he brought in were a suprised to me, but the gamble paid off.

Refs never like us in Europe. Remember the Barca game ? The problems will get ironed out, Chelsea are a winning side and just in a bit of poor form. One thing I will say about AVB i wasnt happy with: Merieles was in my opinion one of the best players on the pitch, now to take him off and put mikel on is slightly confusing. I know he was on a yellow card but pro footballers should be expected to calm it down when they are on a yellow. Personally i do dislike mikel as i think he doesn't do his job that well. Did you see Song last night ? he was amazing, especially in the setting up of the goal, could mikel dream of doing this ? Course not. But apart from subs i think AVB is right to attempt to play good football !

Good performance, we looked a lot more structured, still no where near the standard we need to be, but we are getting better, just slight slips in concentration punish us. AVB should not get slated for this. Could he stop Ivanovic not picking up the player? Could he stop the referee not giving a stone waller? No! This is our problem we don't give managers a chance, we are playing a total different style of football, under Jose we played not the most attractive football, now we are building an intelligent footballing side, it wont happen immediately, I am not giving up on this season already but next season under AVB we will grow and win trophies! Also Valencia wont fancy coming to the bridge needing at least a scoring draw, we will win that game. Give AVB a chance to install what is a good style of play which I enjoy watching !

He is only 23, his confidence is outstanding, he played really quite well against liverpool !

FINALLY, someone who speaks sense! Torres is an exceptional player, he isn't in form but form is temporary! He has taken too much time yes but how can people right him off? it takes one single goal, even a tap in and everyone will be singing his name, also drogba i believe is poor, i thought Torres should have played more then 10 mins against Liverpool, hope he gets his chance this weekend! him come back. Him being out of form doesnt prove or mean anything. He was and -is- a good player and always will be.
