What is pool's schedule like at that time?
-
Switch Kante (injured) with Bakayoko and this is the team I would like to see. Maybe Fabregas for Pedro for 3-5-2, but Fab has been poor recently so I'm not too sure about that.
-
Great to see such enthusiasm tbh.

I really liked the look of Ampadu. I don't recall him making any big mistakes unlike some senior players. He put himself about physically for the team, was surprisingly calm and composed for a 17yo. He even had the balls to point and show others where to pass. Played full 90 minutes in a heated and tight cup game, which I bet isn't easy for someone so young with so little experience, the pressure must be immense to not be the one to fuck up. Musonda I don't remember doing anything other than the cross to Rüdiger.

There was this topic about who should replace JT as captain, it had some lively debates. Now I don't think there is any question, there wouldn't be any debates anymore, only unanimous votes for Azpi. His evolution since he came here has been a joy to watch.

Give him a break, just recovered from injury and had no pre-season and no match fitness. Two good streams: http://www.livefootballol.me/streaming/football-league-cup/25-10-2017-chelsea-everton.html

It's great that Drinks can finally play, but I have a bad feeling. That midfield is championship level at best.

In January we'll have the annual excuse of waiting for the summer for the "right targets" to become available (the real reason being that we are not ready to pay inflated prices mid-season), and then when the summer comes we fail with the right targets and eventually panic buy somebody who we could have bought in January. The summer window will be shorter this time, it closes right about when Marina returns from her vacation so expect even more disappointments.

Let's be honest, anybody can rip a new asshole to him. And his side with Kenedy would be so weak, true. I dunno, I would put Azpi in any league and big game, but this League Cup can be taken more lightly for the greater good.
-
I hope we give a rest to Azpi. He has not been himself these past few games and I think it might have to do with him playing constantly. Cahill gave himself a nice rest in the beginning, let him run around a bit instead.

Even though this competition is our most realistic chance of a trophy, I wouldn't shed a tear if we crashed out so our thin squad can focus on finishing in top 4 and progressing as far as possible in the CL. Caballero Rüdiger - Christensen - Cahill Zappacosta - Bakayoko - ?* - Kenedy Pedro - Morata - Musonda * Have no idea who could play this position. Hopefully not Fabregas if we don't want to destroy the legs he still has got. Luiz or Ampadu would be my guess, but that midfield is just horrendous.
-
Haha, does this really count? I'm not familiar with those rules. I guess since it didn't go out of field of play and there was no second touch after the shot, then the ball bouncing in still counted.
-
Drogba was the same when he first arrived if my memory serves me right. He still had the tendency to go down too easily later in his career, but he learned and improved on this aspect after his first season. Let's hope Morata goes the same way.
-
Doubt we'll see him at all this season. Probably will be loaned out in January once recovered from injury and sold in summer.
-
Yeah. Actually Mou did a lot of damage to our image and Conte fixed it in his first season. Conte's handling of media in previous season was flawless imo.
-
You're stretching it mate, not 'easily'. For me Mourinho 2.0 was a disaster in terms of media handling.
-
When Dave kisses the badge, I believe him. Unlike some others.
-
Struggling without Kante.
-
Shambles. What was Cahill doing there? What was Bakayoko doing??
-
Baka isn't fit, he's playing through a minor injury.
-
Why not? He's not on loan.
-
I'm not liking the negativity coming out from our camp. Other top teams are in the same situation as us, of course our squad is smaller, but complaining about the schedule doesn't bring anything good imo.
-
I agree. We just have to hope the guys up top work their magic It will be solid at the back with basically 3 destroyers, but I can already see how incoherent and sloppy in attack with nobody to intelligently and technically link up with the forward line. Perfect for grinding out results when needed, but there is no evolution in that team since forever. Basically same old song, put all your eggs in one basket and hope for the best.
-
We have Cesc in midfield ATM and we haven't seen much creative in our last few games. We just need solidity right now You might be right and it might be the team we will be using in big games in the near future, but it will be painful to watch.
-
No creativity in that team. It could work however if we had better wing-backs.
