Both are excellent players and I wouldn't mind seeing both at Chelsea, in all honesty, where they can learn from two of the world's greatest strikers in Drogba and Anelka, and compete against each other for first team recognition, potentially getting the best out of the two. They're both completely different types of striker anyway, you can't really compare them - hence the reason why having both would be a lovely option.

I agree with him. Whilst we have players like Belletti, Kalou and Ivanovic who can come off the bench and make a difference, a few of our squad members just aren't good enough for a squad that wants to win titles. There are specific areas, such as the defence and central midfield where we have great cover, but we don't really have many experienced and proven back-up options should Malouda or Anelka or Drogba get injured. Could do with signing another striker, a winger and a goalkeeper IMO.

Every game is a big game when you want to win trophies, in fairness.

So Gerrard "really" scored 12 and Ronaldo "really" scored 14. Still, they are both excellent returns - but it just puts into perspective how efficient Anelka has been in front of goal this season. Credit to him

I agree with Sempre Juve, the difference between the top teams and the bottom leagues in the Italian Serie A is much less than in the Premier League, where the Big Four dominance has basically led to mini leagues being created - the top four, the Europa League places, mid-table, and relegation. In Italy, the league is more competitive, in my opinion. For example, if you were to play the likes of Milan and Inter and Juve against Chelsea, United and Liverpool, the English sides would win, but if you then went and compared the likes of Genoa, Fiorentina and Udinese with Villa, Everton and Fulham, those teams would win without difficulty, and that story is repeated further down in the table also.

I have to agree with you on that, his all-round team play has improved as well. He is much more disciplined and the genius that is Guus Hiddink has worked out how to get the best out of all three forwards as well.

Spot on, hopefully that sharpness will be what secures him his 20th of the season, and potentially the FA Cup as well.

Personally, I don't think teams should be allowed to, but I certainly think the rule should be revised. I think it should be the actual last game of the season that teams should be allowed to change kits; not change them two or three games before the conclusion of the season, because you then have to revert to the previous kit like we've had to.
