  1. Rooney to put the final nail in the coffin, most likely. But if we go there and beat the fuckers, it'll make me just as angry as it will happy. How can we go to places like Arsenal and Porto and put in some great away performances, then go to Blackburn and be, quite simply, shit? It's so frustrating.
  2. Can't really blame Ancelotti for anything other than the changes. The starting eleven is good enough to beat fucking Blackburn. Bringing on Deco was a good call, he looked half-interested at least. Zhirkov was always going to come on, but leaving five minutes for Sturridge? Pointless. He needed to bring on Deco or Cole on EARLIER and switch to the Diamond because we had next to nothing in the midfield. The players under-performed. Again. In fairness, Turnbull, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Zhirkov, Lampard, Malouda and Deco did nothing wrong, but the rest were useless. Drogba did fuck all except score, Anelka's running around like a headless chicken, Clueless Kalou does some little dance and then passes to the opposition, Mikel passes sideways all the fucking time, and Ferreira is nothing more than a squad player. He looked out of his depth, you'd think we was man-marking Rooney or Messi, not Diouf. Some serious changes need to be made.
  3. Another draw I reckon. We're awful at the minute, and Portsmouth are playing with confidence and spirit despite being certain to go down. I don't think we're good enough to go there and win. If we scrape a 1-0 win I'd be fucking chuffed, but I really can't see it happening.

  7. Really don't know how to react. We're obviously not out of the race on paper, but I cannot see us winning the title. FA Cup or nothing.
  8. We're not winning this game guys, sorry.
  9. You can't really blame anyone but the players. That being said we need some fresh blood. For that reason you could blame some of the managers, or even Roman, for not splashing the cash, but at the end of the day our team, on paper, is good enough to beat anyone.
  10. Blackburn will be without Paul Robinson after the goalkeeper tore a calf muscle against his former club Tottenham. Jason Brown will deputise, but Ryan Nelsen, Gael Givet, Lars Jacobsen, Vince Grella and Franco Di Santo are all unavailable. Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has no fresh injury concerns. Goalkeepers Petr Cech and Hilario are back in training and could return from respective calf and groin problems to replace Ross Turnbull. Blackburn - Injured/unavailable: Di Santo (ineligible under loan rules), Grella & Robinson (both calf), Givet & Jacobsen (both groin), Nelsen (knee) Chelsea - Doubtful: Cech (calf), Hilario (groin) Injured: Bosingwa (knee), A Cole (ankle), Essien (knee)
  11. Blackburn actually have a very good home record so this is not going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination. Plus we're far from good on the road, the way we've been playing recently means we'd be lucky to scrape a draw. But we can't afford that. We HAVE to win. Come on you Blues.
  12. People blaming the manager need to look at the players next time. Half of them are running around like headless chickens. There appears to be no confidence whatsoever amongst the team anymore, and I think the fans are running out as well.
  13. Depends if you count the Community Shield, which some people don't.
  14. West Ham's relegation fears were underlined after a 4-1 demolition by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea were dominant throughout and took a deserved early lead through Alex's first goal for nearly nine months. Ex-Blues midfielder Scott Parker equalised with a 25-yard belter in front of watching England manager Fabio Capello, but it was Frenchman Florent Malouda who stole the show with a match-winning performance. In addition to setting up Alex's opener, Malouda provided the cross for Didier Drogba to make it 2-1 and Malouda himself fired home from the edge of the area to confirm the victory. Drogba poached a second in stoppage time as he continues his quest for the Golden Boot, as Chelsea returned to the top of the table in stunning fashion. The omens are good for Chelsea - the last time they won the Premier League title they beat West Ham by an identical scoreline, and the confidence seems to have returned to Carlo Ancelotti's side after a terrible end to February with back-to-back defeats. But stand-in keeper Ross Tunrbull was rarely tested on his Premier League debut as the Blues demonstrated the same defensive resilience they had shown earlier in the season. And Malouda's strike was the club's 100th in all competitions this season - showing Chelsea's new-found dedication to attack. However in spite of all Chelsea's early possession, it was the visiting side that formed the best chance, and only a wayward finish from six yards out by Brazilian forward Ilan stopped Gianfraco Zola's side from going ahead. Paulo Ferreira was beaten at the by-line by Mido who squared the ball for his strike partner, who lashed the ball feet over the crossbar. It was a miss that Chelsea would punish almost instantly - Malouda volleyed wide before winning a corner off Johnathon Spector. The initial delivery was cleared as far as John Terry, who returned the ball to the Blues winger. Malouda had time to pick out the run of Alex, who met the ball with a fierce header to beat the despairing dive of Robert Green to hand Chelsea the lead. Drogba scores... again... West Ham were under mounting pressure and Chelsea came close to extending their lead but Malouda's cross was deflected on to the bar by Matthew Upson before Parker could hack the ball to safety. The Hammers were soon on level terms thanks to Parker's excellent goal - his first of the season. Dyer's throw-in was flicked on by a stretching John Mikel Obi, and Parker took one touch before hammering home beyond the helpless Turnbull. That was as good as West Ham were to get, as the goal seemed to galvanise the hosts. Frank Lampard stung the palms of Green with a fierce drive moments before half-time, and shortly after the interval it took some intelligent play from the England goalkeeper to deny Drogba as he raced out to meet the Ivorian. But Drogba was not be denied, and he soon made it 2-1 - but the goal owed much to Chelsea skipper John Terry. The defender surged forward before laying the ball off to Drogba on the edge of the area. Drogba fed Malouda before racing into the area where he met the Frenchman's cross with aplomb for his 26th goal of the season. Green then pulled off an excellent save to deny Alex before Terry poked the rebound wide of the target. Malouda then turned his marker on the edge of the area before firing into the bottom corner for his ninth of the campaign, and it was a deserved goal from the Frenchman. Malouda then supplied a delightful flick to Lampard, who hit the base of the post with an instinctive effort from close range, before the rebound was blocked by a covering defender with Drogba looking to pounce. Malouda - enjoying one of his best spells in a Chelsea shirt - was then substituted to a standing ovation as Ancelotti looked to rest his troops before their crunch tie with Inter Milan. And it was a tale of two saves in stoppage time - the first was from Green, who could only push the ball into Drogba's path from a Lampard effort, allowing the striker his second of the game, before Turnbull made a confidence-aiding save at his near post to ensure the scoreline reflected the events of the game. ___________________________________________________________________ Chelsea (4-3-2-1): Turnbull, Ivanovic (Zhirkov), Alex, Terry ©, Ferreira; Ballack, Mikel, Lampard; Anelka (J Cole), Malouda (Kalou); Drogba West Ham (4-3-3): Green; Spector, Gabbidon, Upson ©, Deprela; Kovac, Parker, Behrami; Ilan (Diamanti), Mido (C. 15. There's an outside chance Petr could be back for the Portsmouth game on the 24th, but this is far too soon.
  16. He's been very consistent this season. Good performance today as well. But he has been exceptional for the last 12 months IMO.
  17. Florent Malouda's strike was our 100th in all competitions this season, meaning we now tally at an impressive 101 in total. Here's the breakdown of our attacking play this season: The team are averaging 2.3 goals per game Top scorer Didier Drogba has scored almost 27% of Chelsea's goals this term 63% of Chelsea's goals this season have been shared between Drogba, Malouda, Anelka and Lampard Just under 6% of our goals have been scored by the opposition 16 different Chelsea players have notched for the Blues this season 10% of Chelsea's goals have been scored by defenders Approximately one in five goals have been scored from set pieces Didier Drogba is the only player to have scored in all four competitions for Chelsea this season Salomon Kalou has scored seven goals - none of them in the Premier League 40% of Chelsea's assists have been supplied by Florent Malouda, Didier Drogba or Frank Lampard
  18. Blackburn Rovers vs Chelsea FA Premier League, Sunday 21st March 2010, Ewood Park, 1600 KO - live on Sky Sports Chelsea travel north to Blackburn in a crucial Premier League match with implications at the top and bottom of the table. Blackburn's 3-1 defeat at Tottenham last weekend, coupled with Chelsea's 4-1 demolition of West Ham, will make the Londoners favourites for this match. However, Blackburn have lost just twice at home all season and boast one of the best home records in the division - they even beat Chelsea on penalties after a stunning 3-3 draw in the Carling Cup. Chelsea thrashed Rovers 5-0 in the return fixture, but can Carlo Ancelotti's men continue their march to the title?

  20. Didn't you just know they'd score. Utter bastards.
  21. I bet fucking Bendtner scores a last minute fluke shin-roll that goes in after a deflection off Myhill that cannons into Bullard's bollocks and lobs Zayatte who was the covering defender.
  22. Malouda was fucking out of this world. I don't remember him even playing that well for OL.
