  1. Then maybe he's going to be smarter than we give him credit for. Anelka, Drogba Lampard Malouda, Mikel, Cole Maybe.
  2. England defender Ashley Cole will be "ready for the World Cup", according to his boss at Chelsea, Carlo Ancelotti. "The England staff are in contact with our medical staff and in 15 days Ashley will be back with the squad," he said. Cole's rehabilitation from surgery has progressed better than expected after he broke his ankle in Chelsea's 2-1 defeat by Everton on 10 February. The left-back is expected to be available for Chelsea's last three Premier League games of the season. He was expected to be ruled out for three months but he has beaten that target and should have had some first-team action under his belt by the time Fabio Capello picks his initial 35-man squad for South Africa on 12 May. 3. As much as I think he's a total tosser and a poof, he's also a magnificent footballer who is proven in this league. I'd pay £100 million for him if I was Roman. Seriously.
  4. Spoke to him over PM regularly. Nice person, such a shame. Rest in Peace my friend.
  5. Owen Hargreaves could return to the Manchester United bench after 19 months out with a knee injury, while John O'Shea could also return. Wayne Rooney, injured in midweek, will be replaced by Dimitar Berbatov. Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti will recall Didier Drogba, who has recovered from a knock that prevented him from training earlier this week. Drogba's return could mean Joe Cole drops to the bench, with Nicolas Anelka taking up a deeper role. Man Utd Injured: Anderson (knee), Brown & Welbeck (both metatarsal), Owen (hamstring), Rooney (ankle) Chelsea Injured: Bosingwa, Essien & Ivanovic (all knee), Carvalho & A Cole (both ankle)
  6. Spot on mate, reckon Balley's got a good chance of starting as a second holding midfielder, giving Frank the freedom to move forwards. United will probably play with one striker and a five-man midfield to stop Lampard bombing forward to support Flo and DD11.
  7. Ancelotti's confirmed Drogba's fit, don't worry about it ceaserblues
  8. My point is that they're a lot more reliant on their star player than we are. True we had the odd tough game without Drogba, such as Burnley away, but we've got plenty of quality at the end of the day to get us the points, ie. Lampard, Anelka, Malouda. Besides Own Goal and when Berbatov decides to play, I don't see any real danger men for United, besides Rooney.
  9. We're six wins away from glory. What possibly greater incentive could there be for those players?
  10. I have an idea. They'll moan when we win and say they'd have won if they'd have had Rooney. So we should leave Drogba on the bench. Or not. Strongest team selection possible, and hopefully we'll have three points. All things considered, however, I'd settle for a point. Although it might not be enough.
  11. If United now go and win the title without him, they deserve it IMO. They've been called a one-man team for ages, time for them to step up.
  12. Well I'm being hugely biased I just think if we show desire and play like we did against Villa, there's no reason we can't get the five wins and a draw I think we can get.
  13. Sorry to ruin the party mood, but they do have other players
  14. How do you think it'll pan out? Predict here - The Shed title predictor
  15. You guys know I like a good old stat or two. Here's one for your consideration: Manchester United have won their last nine games that Wayne Rooney hasn't started - conceding only once.
  16. Agree with you there, Bruma is certainly ahead of Michael in the pecking order.
  17. ___________________________________________________________ Personally, I'm at a loss with what to do with Mancienne. Do we keep him and let him have limited chances next season? Or sell him on? I don't think he's strong enough to be a central defender. He has pace and an eye for an attacking pass, which is why I think he excels in a more advanced role as a midfield anchorman. However if he wants to stay as a defender, how does he break into a central defensive duo consisting of two from Ivanovic, Terry, Alex, Carvalho and Bruma? I can't see it happening myself.
  18. I can't see that myself, to be honest. Not with Lampard, Essien and Mikel in the team.

  20. I don't give a fuck about the UCL anymore, it's just boring seeing used screwed over every season.
  21. How about we strike a deal with the devil; Rooney injured for United's title run-in, but a miraculous recovery for the World Cup?
  22. Was injured after the Liverpool match; the only reason he didn't play against Bolton was in case he aggravated it. Which he may well have done. Oh well, shit happens.
  23. If we're having a red V neck collar, which we allegedly are, it might be like this:
  24. I'm expecting United to score a winner in the 11th minute of three minutes added on for stoppages, with a penalty awarded after a foul in the centre circle.
