Who was your Man of the Match for this Budweiser FA Cup Third Round match?
-
Meireles has actually been slightly worse than Phil Dowd today.
-
STURRIDGE. GET ON NOW. Sort it out AVB! Torres needs some help.
-
My days, we really are shit.
-
Sunderland miss a sitter. Get Sturridge on.
-
I hate these sort of matches.
-
Sitting in the stands at Chelsea instead of Swansea today for some daft reason.
-
He even makes inadvertent tap-ins with his knee look classy
-
Haha, didn't even know that button existed

Nah I wasn't being aggressive, I tend to use a lot of expletives when I'm being aggressive towards someone I know you didn't mean to offend anyone, I'm just saying I know someone who went fucking ballistic because an Australian bloke called him a Pom All pretty pathetic if you ask me, it's all just semantics anyway! Good post mate. As I've already said, people are dismissing Cahill because he plays for Bolton, but the reality is that he is definitely a good defensive player.
-
I don't think there's an option unfortunately
-
Precisely, calling him a risk is complimentary.
-
I know that, but a lot of English people are quite ignorant to that fact That's my point, I understand your usage of the word but some people might find it offensive, it's similar to use of the word 'Yid'; just be mindful in future
-
Overpaid and overpriced? So are Cole, Lampard, Terry, Cech, Drogba, Torres, Essien, and 95% of the squad. What's your point? If he comes in and plays well, I won't complain. And I'd rephrase your post if I were you, because there are a lot of 'Poms' on here that would taken offence to that.
-
Of course not, it won't be confirmed by us until March, Ron.
-
I hate Twitter, it gets me excited, then I just get angry and then I want to go and abuse people on YouTube.
-
Just anything that could be interpreted as offensive or abusive. I suppose calling someone a 'fucking idiot' connotes greater offence than merely calling them an 'idiot'. Obviously we can't moderate every post - so, in future, we're going to try and do things as fairly as possible, by talking to those involved before taking appropriate action. That way we can discover whether there was offensive intent or if offence was taken.

Hey, guys, there's plenty of time left! It's still only the 14th!
-
One way to sweeten the deal would be to loan him back to Lille for the duration of the season. I know we need him now, but I'd rather sign him now and have him come in the summer than see him go to Real or Barcelona - or, worse yet, Man City.
-
Sunderland are the type of side he will get chances against because of the way they play, which is quite expansive. That's unless MON decides to sit deep and defend. Like he did when he was at the Villa.

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas
BlueLion. replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Haha he certainly takes no prisoners! That is one element of Mourinho's style he has definitely replicated. Just gone back reading some of my posts last night, not quite sure what I was on. Definitely fully behind AVB and I know he probably has the hardest job of all managers in the league at present... I think it is just the sentiment I have towards the players which is making me dislike him slightly. Like I said though, fully behind him, but he definitely needs to brighten up in press conferences! -
Precisely. If it is the latter, we will get turned over. Sunderland are a good team, but the most dangerous element of all is their confidence at the minute. They've played seven games under O'Neill, only lost one (and that was away at Tottenham)!

£6.21 an hour, I've asked for a payrise but I'm not optimistic

From now on, the staff are going to strictly stick to this following guide on warnings and punishment: In the past we have only vaguely stuck to these guidelines, because frankly we do not enjoy banning or suspending people. We strive to make this community a universal one that we all can enjoy, but as KieranVogel quite rightly said, we are only human and will make mistakes. I appreciate that any particular grievances made over the last 12 hours or so are down my childishness on my part, but I do believe Sam certainly added to it with some of his offensive members to the likes of Sh0n3x and Manuf, who, basically, were just asking those involved to calm down. However, once again I apologise. In accordance with these above guidelines, looking at Sam's warn records it would appear this is his third such offence. As such a seven-day suspension has been sanctioned after a discussion in the staff forum overnight, and when he comes back one of us will send a PM as a final warning. I hope this clears up any concerns over what future action will be taken. Do note the topic has been cleared of the spam/flame posts and is now open to regular discussion which I hope we can all engage in! And whilst we are open to comments and feedback on our performance as staff members, we would prefer it if people stopped trying to act as vigilantes, saying what they think should be done. It just causes more aggravation. We do the best we can with what limited time we have on the forums. One possible way to address this would be to appoint another moderator or two, but that decision rests largely with the current staff and we shall discuss it, though if anyone has any views on the matter I would appreciate hearing them in this topic. I would also welcome views from the regular members in regards to my conduct and what appropriate actions might be taken. I love this place and wouldn't want to discredit or devalue it with stupid actions - I've had some wonderful debates and enjoyed some hilarious moments on here in the past, and I've also enjoyed the odd slagging match or two! I've also got to make friends all around the world, such as Kerry, and even had the privilege to meet one of the world's biggest Chelsea supporters in Steve! As I have already said, I'm sorry for fucking up last night. Those arguments are down to me trying to make a joke, but it only sought to make the situation more volatile. I won't blame it on anything over than my own idiocy, but I hope we can move on, and move on quickly as we have done in the past. Let's just hope Chelsea crush Sunderland today and try to restore some of the unity on the board! All the best, Alex.
