After seeing Torres hauled off, I think we are in a better position now. AVB will either spring a surprise and play Sturridge through the middle, or with Drogba we have a player that best compliments the likes of Mata and Lampard. I think we can get a 1-1 draw here.

Raul is an enigma. He started the season really well for us, and I thought we had found a really good replacement for Ballack as a second B2M midfielder. Since December, he's been shit.

He did exactly what I wanted him to - have a solid and unspectacular game. That is the currency young players should deliver, because excellent performances increases the pressure and the chance of failure. He had an unfussy game.

Hopefully now Andre realises who is first-choice right back is.
