We just need a performance like this at club level and he will cement his place in starting line up.. And if we have wingers like Schurrle Hazard and Willian its going to make us very hard to stop.. we already know Hazard gets double and triple marked and if you watched that Germany V. Sweden game you could see the same thing happening with Schurrle which makes that much more space for everyone else.. Great days ahead once he gets off the mark! :blue scalf:

I feel Oscar and Hazard should be rested in place of Schurrle and Mata with Willian making up third AM spot for this one even Kevin who played well during international duty possibly ahead of Willian

I know everyone gets heated on the Mourinho vs. Mata debate but all those who can't see that Mata is now adding defense to his abilities as well as still producing the goods offensively are completely blind to that aspect of player development.. I have yet to see anyone state Mata attacking wise is not one of most dangerous players in the PL but what he lacked was that defensive spark that could jump start a team.. As a defender it is great to see your attacking players get stuck in it means they are all in for the cause and not passing the buck when it comes to that side of the game.. I don't understand if Juan himself buys into it and is doing the work and Jose rewards him by playing him why must we have the same argument over and over again.. Jose wants the TRIO together he said so himself, with Juan showing he is willing to tackle and intercept and harass the opposition we will see the best Juan yet..

I disagree it wasn't meant to be a scratch if you look a the incident again he put his hand on Vertonghen face and was pushed off.. to call that a scratch attempt is pretty harsh.. what grown man is going to scratch another man in his face on purpose..How the incident went down when watching it again Vertonghen dives torres goes to tell him not to do it by holding his face Vertonghen pushes Torres off where he already had a hand on his face.. and then the CUNT Vertonghen again wins the header then holds the spot of his head that the ball hit .. CON ARTIST!! I also wanted to add that I have seen Terry do the same thing to an attacking player for trying to con the ref in a diving call and no one had an issue with it in the past
