What does what mean?
-
Not necessarily. See Bayern vs Juve. Like I said in the other thread, it's about attitude. If we go into this match looking to park the bus like we did in the league games, I don't fancy our chances at all. Need to take the game to them like we did with united.

He speak about a dozen different languages, it'll be difficult finding someone better
-
Yes but Basel were very organized in midfield and pressed really well. I actually think Tottenham played well yesterday, but Basel were just better.
-
I actually think they are better than Fenerbache. They're very organized and press very well in midfield.
-
You are underrating Basel immensely. They completely outplayed Tottenham over both legs. All three teams are equally difficult to beat, imo.
-
All three teams are good, just don't want to add a trip across Europe to Turkey to our schedule.

Okay, let's see if I can explain the US college University scheme a little better for you Degrees: Associates degree: 2 years of college level courses, for most things not ver useful but some things like nursing, EMT, paramedics, medical lab tech, basic accounting, general office or manufacturing jobs it is enough Bachelors degree (only called undergraduate when you are in school or have a higher degree) is a four year program of study Masters is a 2 year degree that you complete after your masters ( sometimes called a graduate degree) example: MBA is a masters degree in business Doctorate: if done after your bachelor's will take at least 4 years and as many as 7 depends on the subject. Less if you have a Masters PhD is a doctorate in Philosophy and is the generic designation for most fields of study. MD is a medical doctorate DMV is a doctorate in veterinary medicine There is a special designation for a doctorate in Law, Theology, and Education... And probably some others. For example my business card would say some thing like: Kerry Camp, MAT, BChE, B.S. because I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching and two Bachelors degrees one in Chemical Engineering and one in Science (Biology) but it doesn't list my minors or degree specialization. @Choulo, living in a country where you are not proficient in the language is not so bad and gives you a lot of incentive to learn the language Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Thanks, Kerry. That helps a lot

It happened when the team came under pressure in the second half and the game looked like running away from us. It's normal with his age and lack of experience. Anxiety kicked in and his passing became sloppy and he got turned too easily a couple of times and he started chasing the ball way out of position. Rafa should have taken him off, imo.
-
Anything but Fenerbache, really.
-
That's why I'd rather we face them over two legs. If we face them in the final it really could go either way.
-
I actually wouldn't be too worried about drawing Tottenham. We can beat them.
-
So who do you guys want in the semis? I want Benfica because I'd rather face them over two legs.
-
Can we borrow DD for this one?
-
No they won't, because I'm signing off now

I'm was not defending Mikel, the comment about Lampard and Ake was more aimed at the people who were trying to make this performance look much worse than it was and saying he should leave in the summer because of it. And no, it's not an easy yes or no question because you make a huge logical fallacy in that question in assuming that his attitude and performance today will always be the same in the future, then you go on to imply, based on 20 mins of football, that he is not worth to represent badge. When Mikel has a bad performance like today, I'm always one of the first people to criticize him, but I just don't try to make him look like an immoral enemy of the club by talking circles around the subject.
-
Great first half, looked very solid defensively and made some great interceptions, but completely fell apart in the second. Should have been taken off, imo. But hopefully he got some valuable experience.
-
11 games left, I'm not sure he'll make it either. For some reason I get a feeling he'll just equal the record.
-
Yes, I'm deflecting the blame by saying he had "a really poor game" and that there are "no excuses" for that. I know you're looking for an argument, but I'm not going to give you one
-
Good call by Rafa to rest the trio after all. But I can't agree with his call to give some of our starting XI players the day off at half time. Horrendous performance by some. Terry was terrible, Lampard invisible in the second half, Mikel awful when he came on. Even Ake who had a great first half fell apart in the second, should have been taken off, imo. Anyway, none of that matters because we're through to the semis. EDIT: Oh, and Moses was our best player by a distance, which, tbf, isn't saying much tonight.
-
Poor game, just didn't look bothered. No excuses. Having said that, some people have been waiting for this for a long time apparently and are trying to make it look worse than it was. Yes, he was bad today, but in that same period I forgot that Lampard was still on until he came off for Iva, and Ake was worse than both of them (a bit more understandable given his age).

@, Thanks mate. That really helps.
