^^^^....Me and Ollie view it as Half glass Full(season has been tough and competitive). You and CTC view it as Half Glass Empty.(season has been weak since top 4 teams have weakened) Why not say, the weaker teams have played well this season and have given the top ones a run for their money.

hmm...could shine like Ballack did this season. You never know. So the wingers we have are: Jose Cole Malouda I would like to see Scott Sinclair and one more quality winger Strikers: Franco Di Santo Kalou Anelka Berbatov????:0

On-pitch moment of the season: Drogba celebrating infront of the Liverpool Dugout and the whole Stamford Bridge crowd mocking Rafa with the "diving" actions. Off-pitch moment of the season: Jose Sacking Player who must not be sold: Cech Greatest goal: Alex vs middlesboro Most embarrassing moment: Grant appointment Effect of manager’s shopping: All of Jose's signings have been huge flops apart from Alex. Grant's signiing ie. Anelka has not had a huge effect as yet. The season in five words: As Usual: Resilience Personified Five-point action plan for the summer: a) Buy Buy c) Buy d) Buy e) Buy

No Aroop, Its not that. 4 SemiFinals against Rafa. 2 in UCL nd 2 in Cups, and he failed to beat him in all four of them.

rafa and wenger don't fuck it up by playing a CF, who cant play on the wing, on the wing for the first time in their first chance at silverware.. Dude, Kindly explain to me: Arsenal leading 6 points in march and within a month trialing 6 points....Dont you think Arsene bottled it... Rafa, well...he always bottles it in the league and the cups. by fiddling around with the team and the formation. he bottled two trophies.. Rafa and Wenger bottled 4 trohpies..... and who was responsible for that dominance and even with all top 4 clubs he's still won the last 2 eepl crowns And thats why I mentioned 7 EPL Titles and not all 10 as the last 3 titles came during the top 4 domination. we've been lucky too, drogba was offside for the semifinal goal, take the CL final spot out and this would have been a miserable season.. I am talking about the decisions in favour of Man Utd over the season and NOT just that one match. 1 penalty in 38 games, no. of teams getting red carded while playing against them, etc etc. Of course we've had some decisions in our favour, but only some. ofcourse you do but a good manager at helm is the basic necessity, do you want to say we suddenly started winning under jose, cos he brought luck and biased refereeing? Did I say that? and why not include anelka, belletti, ivanovic, not to mention it was because of reluctance of roman to spend. Why not include Anelka, Belleti and Ivanovic/? Do you seriously want me to answer that? When was the last time Anelka scored for us...? Belleti, arent we selling him? Ivanovic.....Did he play any part in the league..? what hurts me most is looking back at how the season went, this could so easily have been a quadruple season had jose been incharge.. spurs where there to be taken, FA was a cake walk and all those defensive errors in the league would haven't occured under jose.. LOL!!!..Fucking Hell. Quadraple and Easy dont go together.....And how confident you sound about Jose. Did you forget how he bottled up at Newcastle in FA CUP 3 years back. Defensive errors? in the league...we had 11 points in 6 games when he was sacked. On a flip side, With Jose at helm, you wouldnt have gone past Liverpool in the UCL. Jose is a Human, not a GOD!!...

Domestic Season has been weak?..Are you kidding me?...No, seriously mate....are you kidding me? Manchester United: 87 Chelsea: 85 Arsenal:83 Portsmouth beating Manchester United in FA Cup at OT Spurs beating Chelsea in the Finals..(irrespective of their league standings. As liverpool won the UCL while being 5th in the league) Manchester United losing 5 games. And you say Domestic Season has been weak? Which means the season where Arsenal won without losing a game has been tough? the season when Chelsea gathered 95 points has been the toughest ever? The season when Manchester United won the league and Arsenal won the FA cCup has been tougher? Whats your definition of a tough domestic season? top 4 teams or top 3 teams winning everything? And the question isnt a dig at you. I am quite eager to know what your definition of a "tough domestic season" is...

You mean to say, Arsene Wenger and Rafa arent competent coaches...? If your theory of competency is based on what you just mentioned, then i beleive Grant becomes more competent than Arsene Wenger and Rafa...And that would sound as a joke... One more thing. Fergie has won 10 titles an 7 of them came in an era where they were the sole dominant force with sporadic challenges from clubslike Blackburn, Newcastle and Arsenal. When Chelsea came into the picture, the whole scenario changed. Fergie has messed it up in the past. It is NOT like he is the perfect coach, add to that the amount of red cards teams got This season while playing against Man UTD. 1 penalty given against them in 38 matches. Steve "Fergie's Darling" Bennet blew it at JJB, by not giving a penlty to Wigan and not sending off Scholes. To be on top, you need all the luck and biased refereeeing. Also, let me point out to you that, Manchester United spent 50 million in summer and bought players like Owen Hargreaves, Nani, Anderson, Tevez and they have made a huge difference to their squad. Compare that to Ben Haim, Sidwell, Pizzaro and Malouda. OK we made blunders in the past. But so have Arsene, Rafa, Jose, Alex. I am quite satisfied with the season we had when you take into the picture our summer transfers, Jose Sacking, AFNC, Injuriesand still reachin 85 points.

Essien Aka Bison is a fucking priceless player. But I dont see him move away from Chelsea for the next 2-3 years. Ballack is 31, may be in next 2 seasons we could see Bison being our midfield mainstay. As for Lampard. I dont mind if he leaves now, as we have Bison and Ballack. But always RESPECT-----> LAMPARD!!!

warnie_666 replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Drogba will fetch more than 20...24 million for sure...... OK..I dont know the deal with Benzema. But at the moment he is the Europe's top HitMan. Ben Haim , an Sidwell will be taken up by mid table teams for first team pleacce and they will definately fetch us 5-6 million each Pizzaro...5 million..for sure. -
No way in hell am I ever gonna say we dont stand a chance against them. All I said was, You never know how the game against Manchester would have panned out had we won our game against Wigan.
-
LOL!!!....And you think thats why he is Jose's signing. Well then why dint he sign him last season when we were bidding 20 million for Alves.

Season 2008/2009 hopes and thoughts
warnie_666 replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
OUT: Belleti : 6 million, Ferrira or Bridge:(IF Bridge leaves Ferriera stays as he plays LB for Portugal): 9 million SWP: 14million Malouda: 13million Pizzaro:7million Sheva: 14million Drogba: 29million BenHaim: 5 million. Sidwell: 7 million. Lampard: 7 million pounds(If he buys out his contract) NET GAIN: 111million pounds IN: Boswinga: 16 million Ivanovic: 9 million (HE and Boswinga can be the candidates for RB...He can also be our 4th CB)... Anelka: 15 million Franco Di Santo:3 million Scott Sinclair: Its high time he is given a run in the first team. He is a direct Winger and we need him. Quaresma or Iniesta: 16 million Karim Benzema: 20million Van Der Vaart: 17million. NET LOSS: 96million pounds. TOTAL PROFIT IN TRANSFER MARKET for 2008/09 season: 15 million pounds. Finally our team for the 2008/09 season: Strikers: Anelka, Benzema, Franco DiSanto, Kalou Wingers: Jose Cole, Scott Sinclair, Iniesta/Quaresma, Kalou Holding Midfield: Maka, Obi Mikel Attacking Midfield: Ballack, Essien, VanderVaart Centre Back: Terry, Riccy, Alex, Ivanovic Right Back: Boswinga, Ivanovic Left Back: Ashley, Bridge or Ferrira(whoever stays) GK: Cech, Cudicini, Hilario. I still wouldnt be convinced about out Strike force and 1 winger. Rest all looks great. -
Every Player signed from now on has to be Grant's signing. Lets face it. Everytime Chelsea signs a player, I feel worried cus we have had more flops than hits. Hope Grant with his luck changes this. Anelka: when was the last time he scored? Ivanovic: Havent seen him. Di Santo: Good Debut season. Boswinga: Tipped as portugal No.1 so hopfully has to be good. All eyes on him in EURO 2008. May be we will sell Ferriera and Belleti as Ivanovic plays both RB and CB.

^^^^..YOU NAILED IT!! Everyone is going gaga over How good Manchester United are and shit like that. Their away performances have been SHIT!!!..UTTER SHIT!!!....Boro, Blackburn, Weak and Out of form Barca team, Chelsea and Wigan. Yes Wigan. Wigan played fantastic yesterday, but thanks to the Referee Steve Bonnet, Manchester United won the match and the title. That explains why Manchester United have conceded just 1 penalty in 38 league games. Rio's was a handball clearly. Wigan should have been 1-0 up after which Scholes should havee been sent off. Imagine Manchester United trailing 1-0 with 10 men on the field. The league would have been ours. FUCKING REFS!!!!......I sooooo wish we win the UCL due to biased refereeing. I am sure that will hurt them big time.
-
Well all are talking about the blackburn and the Wigan game now that we are second. But ever thought how Fergie would have gone on to play against us at the Bridge had we been leading them? The tactics would have changed, the formation would have changed and may be we would have had a draw which means we would still be equal on points with lesses GD.
-
Well, I just want us to win THIS!!!..I dont care how or wat the fuck happens. I cant see the Man Utd Cunts rejoice at our expense. They are the champions of England, and now WE FUCKING GOT THE CHANCE OF OUR LIVES TO BE THE CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!!......I dont want us to Bottle it. Drogba hopefully turns up unlike today. I hope we take the game to them from the first minute and smash them 2-0 or 3-1.
-
Oh, the crowd chanted his name? Are you serious? Well the guy deserves some credit. I know its Jose's squad, bla bla...but what we went through this season is incomparable. Best Manager sacked, our top players injured for lenghty periods, AFNC, And we took the Man Utd side right down to the wire in the league and for the first time ever made it to the Finals of UCL, and still got a chance to win. All this cannot be possible if there was animosity or hatred in the dressing room. His subs have been spot on in the last 2 months. We managed to beat Man Utd and Liverpool in space of 4 days. I saw theplayers after we won against Liverpool and Man Utd, they shook his hands and hugged him with broad smiles. All is well there as far as I am concerned and it is about time people stop the Jose-Grant comparisons and look to the Finals of Moscow and get behind the team and manager.

Chelsea chief Kenyon hints at Drogba stay
warnie_666 replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
What about Lampard...^^^^? Lampard isnt getting paid less anyways....but he still....wants Terry's wage. -
Same Old Bloody Story.!!! For the 5th fucking time this season and 4th time at home we concede a late injury time equalizer. WITH THAT WE REALLY DONT DESERVE THE TITLE!!!!.....10 points lost there from the Jaws of victory. But We have done good enough to come this far considering all that we went through in this season, also our new signings dint make much of a difference to us apart from Alex. We played with the same squad we played last season. But Still, finishing level with Man Utd could have been a consolation to us and would have given us confidence for the Finals. OH...and had Wigan scored and made it 2-2 that last minute equalizer fromBolton would have haunted us for the rest of our lives. Hence, I am glad Wigan dint score. John terry has a Partially Dislocated Shoulder. He should be fine for the finals. LETS FUCKING BE THE CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE NOW!!!
-
So it all boils down to this day!!! Slow Start to the League Jose Mourinho Sacked Injuries to Drogba, Essien, Sheva, Ballack, Lampard, Terry, Maka, Cech, and the list continues....... African Nations Cup. Whats the end Result? Chelsea is still in the RACE on the last day of the season against the so called "Best Ever Manchester united Team"......If it wasnt for that Draw at home against Wigan, We would have had the title. Also, we have finally made it to the finals of the UCL. Resilience = Chelsea Football Club!!! RESPECT!!!

Megson has already mentioned that Bolton are getting their bus along with them.

Cant Chelsea Offer a Bonus to Wigan if they take points off ManUtd?. It is not Match Fixing, just an incentive, for playing well. I remeber this controversy which happened in La Liga in early 2000's. I dont remeber the teams. But the scenario was almost as similar to ours.. And The team offered Real Betis a bonus to take points of Barcelona(I think), as that would help them win the league.I think that team was either Real Madrid or Valencia...I remeber it was a huge issue then. If any one remebers that controversy, can put some more light on it.

One Helluva Lucky dude...........Have Fun!!!! ..Dont think too much about the match, you might just end up spoiling your wife's weekend.
-
Last 6 games agianst Wigan, Man Utd has scored 20 goals.....
