Also bringing Drogba on turned out to be a mistake. Torres wasnt doing much in an attacking sense but he was tracking back and helping out a lot. Drogbas legs are gone and with city dominating so much, there was no point in bringing him on. Really stupid call by di matteo I'm so pissed off. We should have won that.

Hmm agree with that. Don't know what to think about Essien after that shocking 1st half against Napoli. He got better after the 2nd half but it was still a horrific 45mins

All this City frustration is BRILLIANT. Exactly what we wanted to do. If only we had some more penetration and better wing play. Ramires has been shite every time he's gone forward. Three or four times he got into amazing positions but pathetic control and bad choices let him down Bosingwa ugh. Meireles has been rubbish too. I'd keep things exactly the same for now. Bring on Sturridge for Meireles at the 60/65th minute mark if it's still 0-0

I'm sure Di Matteo had some words with him after Sunday's game. His "selfishness" was more noticeable than usual and some of the other players were clearly frustrated by him - not to mention the fans were as well - so curious to see how he performs in the next few games.
