i actually feel more anger towards rio than anton. The hypocrites of all hypocrites. First hodgson picks terry over him because he cant take being in the same squad. Thats his problem. he is an enigma of a player. Toouch imo is awful, he cant pass 90% time yet he is probably the most effective player ive seen in a long time. His finish tonight tells me everything i see about him is wrong yet i know it cant be. His running however is unbelievable and is already a hero in my eyes

i dont think this season has been about playing our best players etc its been about the way weve reacted. The fact is terry cant play th cl final, so why not use the remaining games to get another partnership? id prefer to win cl then finish 4th? its not me turning against terry, his performances this season esp 1st leg v barca, the 2nd leg v napoli, benfica etc says he deserves as much credit as the rest and he deserves a cl medal and to lift the trophy but what he did tonight was awful. better with malouda wide. Only question is why would you ever start him in centre mid. Would really consider lukaku. Unsure about his ability but his strength power and eagerness could cause problems that torres cant.

i hate to see other matters take over the football but with all the drama and the fact its a police matter i believe neither ferdinand nor terry should play today. Think it really takes the focus away from the game, which is a cup game and local derby. I know JT can handle it etc, but is it really neccessary? both managers should leave them out and not add fuel to the fire in my opinion.

Id really like to think so. Think we need to set something like that up if were gonna keep investing in youth. They need to get games somewhere else as part of there developement into our first team. ive stated before that im not a massive fan of cahill but like all players who we sign i hope he proves me wrong. It is after all very hard to judge a player in a poor side to being in a decent side. He might step up and benefit from not having the likes of zak knight next to him. Think he could of made baresi look average.

I think the essien one is interesting, if he manges to regain some form he could be very important in our rotation the remainder of the season as he is very good at closing players down and has a good tempo to his game. But like you point out i think even if he does well he should be sold at the end of the season whilst he has value. With so many cash rich clubs like malaga, psg and china/russia teams we might be able to do good business. The type of injuries hes had have to affect him again at some point and it would be a shame if we kept him taking up a potential place of another option, only for him to play 4 every 6 matches etc. The way i see lampard goin is hard to judge because its based on guess work. But in my opinion i think its pretty clear that avb and lamps arent sharing the same philosphy. I also dont think avb has him down as a starter if hes at full strength. I also believe that lamps has to much respect for the club to make a massive drama out of this, publicly anyway. Therefore my money would be on an la galaxy move. Good move financially for him, his mrs would love it and hes a perfect role model of professionalism and still a good player. What i cant understand thouh, is i was there on his debut and can honestly say i havent been as impressed by anyone at cfc as much as when he came on. Breath of fresh air, no nerves and pace and skill in spades. Cant help but think lack of chances kill players ability. Start to try to hard, lose confidence, no momentum.

I dont agree but it is only my opinion not a fact, i just see little spurts, the odd good link up, the odd good run, over the course of a game i think hes brought next to nothing. As a centre forward playing for cfc hes got to be more effective. Cant blame everyone else for his performances.

thats fine but can we not expect our striker to score once in a while? we were struggling to break doen portsmouth. Hes movement so far this season has been non existent and he cant finish, hence the reason we struggle when he plays
