Have to agree with romeu, went to goodison last wednesday and he was our best player by a country mile. So good and confident on the ball. While i still like and support avb, im so disheartened with the malouda and anelka situation. There both awful examples of modern footballers, just choosing when and where they want to play. Malouda pass to terry saturday was so half arsed, he did the same against everton on wednesday and passed it straight to saha who missed. The worry i had before about avb managing older proven players looks like its coming true, they should have nothing to do with chelsea starting 11 and yet there getting plenty game time. Doesnt help that torres spends more time moaning and blaming other players (not verbally, watch his body language when he plays) then actually working. Sturridge should be allowed to have 5 bad games before we consider dropping/resting him, hes young and needs to learn the hard way in order to get better and he has bags of potential, but seems to suffer because hes younger and easier to drop. Did anyone actually agree with resting mata last night? another strange decision that managers think players need resting all the time, dont get it myself.

i heard he was actually shouting ''blind cunt'' at the ref. which ive seen the vid and it looks that way to me. If thats true, hes right on both shouts. Think when it all blows over he deserves an apology from the media for implying it any other way. Yet another media witch hunt aimed at jt.

i cant understand why our media are so quick to protect the refs either. they get paid well to ref a game between two teams who fans pay to watch. Pay to watch the teams not the ref. Then they come out like little hitlers with whistles dying to make an impact. the pen was soft, (maybe just about a pen by law), then the red card is softer, both players reach out whilst running. To be fair to swp, he jumps straight up because hes not expecting anything. Why get involved as a ref? he doesnt appeal and its 50 50 but he just cdnt wait to send him off. I live in the midlands and have alot of wba and av fans, phil dowd in there game yesterday hadnt got a clue. Yet again a red card where the opposing plyr (olssen) didnt even appeal for a foul, why get involved?. In the same game Huttons tackle wasnt even considered a free kick. They shdnt be allowed to ref. 100 % in it for there own fame and status. How many games already have we been hammered by refs this season, gettin so hard to take.

think we did have alot of positives. Think sometimes we expect too much too soon. Were still work in progress and i think we are progressing well. Luiz looked good in a different way tonight. AVB still isnt sure what works for him sub wise and were creating lots in recent games. Ive never seen our players play with such pace, if it clicks well be seeing something great at the bridge.

I asked for someone to come on and keep the ball (romeu) and i got kalou. This feels like the xmas i asked for a bike and got the status quo album.

Questions were asked when we appointed AVB (and rightfully so) if he could handle the big egos/players. Ive noticed all his subs give everything so far this season which shows the respect. Didnt feel it with ancelotti.

time for subs me thinks, good performance so far but there a good team at home trying as hard as they can to get something. Drogba will hold it up better then torres but torres probably more dangerous on break if we want another. Good sub with merieles there.

I expect him not to publicly criticise his team mates for being old or slow when he is underplaying himself and has been a collosal flop. Hes missed alot more sitters then hes scored. If your gonna slag lampard then you should slag AVB. All lampard does is go out and try his best. I wouldnt play him over merieles as i stated earlier but thats not my choice. Hes trying and should at least have the support of his own fans.

i agree, nice to see luiz and terry defending well together and luiz kerbing his runs, i never want to see them stop but he needs to choose when and where and i think hes done it well.

Im getting bored of fans saying kalouda are shit, lampards shit again etc etc... Open your eyes and ask yourself is torres doin a better job as a forward as they are in midfield?? thought maloudas attitude against fulham was good so im hoping hes turned a corner. Hes such a good player when he plays well but like many other french players he seems to have a dummy out the pram attitude at times. HWhen he first signed i did nothing but slate his performances but then he just lit up and was our best player for a cpl of months.
