No, if you read what I wrote again you would understand that what I mean was exacly the opposite (regarding Drogba). If you have 2 unknown players you will OF COURSE chose the one who misses more but scores more, because at the end of the day, whoever scores most goals win. Simple as. And regarding Sturridge, you are missing the point here. The point is we dont fucking know if Torres is better than Danny or if its the other way around because STURRIDGE ISNT GETTING ANY CHANCES. How the fuck can u say that Torres is better than Danny? If Danny was given 2-3 starts THEN we could judge him. The reason im "nagging" about wanting him to play is so we can see what the fuck he has, what he can do. We wont get that if he only gets a few minutes here and there. And considering who we have to drop for Danny to get more playtime, its pretty obvious, i mean its not like we will bench Messi... And of course you see Torres doing more effoirt and working harder because he's playing and Danny isnt!! Jesus Christ....
-
Start Sturridge and Moses.....for fuuuuuuuuuuuuck sake
-
Danny IS a centre forward god damnit...
-
You are still missing the point. The ratio is totally not interesting. Why? Because if you have those choices (on paper) and you dont know who the player is (meaning; you dont know if its Drogba how usually scores in big games) you WILL chose the one that scores the most goals. That is what its all about at the end of the day.
-
You are missing the point here... The point is, would you rather have a player who actually shoots and tries, misses alot but scores alot, or a player who does less of both. Reddish-Blue & Spiegel: Ratio isnt interesting. If they were, then you guys would chose a guy who misses 1 sitter and scores 1 goal only. It just doesnt make sense. Taking more chances will make you miss more, but also score more.
-
What does the LB and RB have to do with the fact that we have a shitty striker? I dont care if we would have conceded 2 goals even, we should be able to score more than 1 goal at home against shitpool.
-
Yet they still play in one of the biggest clubs in the world. Ruined them...hmm?
-
What would you rather have: 1) A player who misses 1000 sitters, but scores 20. 2) A player who misses 100 sitters, but scores 5.
-
He isnt what we need at the moment, and especially not for that pricetag.
-
Dream scenario would indeed be to get Falcao and give them Torres.
-
That's what you think, but you have to realize that the board decides the future of Chelsea more than RDM does. Plus RDM isnt on a long-term contract. So at the moment, I believe the board is giving him alot of orders and/or guidelines.
-
I would like to add a few words to that: CAN FUCK OFF
-
That wasnt really my point. I just suggest (and I think) that there is more to it. Btw I dont really understand your point, because if I was the manager I would at least give Danny a chance no matter if he would act like a complete asshole in trainings (which I seriousley think is VERY FAR from the truth), simply because we've tried with Torres for so long and he just keeps end up being crap. Or even with Moses there, Or hazard... or SOMETHING ELSE than that blonde..
-
I just want to say, that there might be more to it than "RDM doesnt have the balls to bench Torres". He may be under strict orders from the board to play Torres...
-
It helps if u have a striker who CAN score though...
-
Of course not. Danny was injured and away for some time and he's not playing regularly. Torres however is always "at his best" so to speak, meaning he's always a starter. Fucking hell, give Danny at least 1-2 starts and see how he does. I mean, it's not like we will be benching a guy that has a huge impact on the game. Torres isnt critical. I really dont understand why Danny isnt given more chances atm.
-
To all of you who sit here and pray/hope that Torres will score... You do know that you sound pretty pathetic, dont you? First of all, I find it so stuipid that we have to sit and pray that our CF will score. Or have some wierd prophecia that if he scores against his old club he will sureley "be back". I hope Torres doesnt score another goal untill January (and that our other players score enough instead) so we can get rid of him. The worst case scenario is that he starts scoring a few goals here and there, keeping the false hope alive (that he will be our new Drogba), ends up staying in the team and a regular, only to screw us up in the late and critical stage of the EPL.
-
Perhaps you didnt know, but Lukaku is 19 years old. Now, please read the above comment I wrote untill you realize how stuipid your comment is.
-
Oh please... You guys are looking at history too much. We were a totally different team before. We were down 0-2 against MU and we still (almost) recovered. Im not worried at all. Liverpool are utter shit and we will run them over. The only thing that will worry me is if Torres starts. We ended Shaktars winning-streak and we will end loserpools "great" statistics against us. 4-1
-
We will dominate them. If torres starts he will have one of his worst game ever. Danny up front. 3-1
-
I seriousley dont get where and/or how they see that torres has good link up play. His touch is horrible and he does nothing good. We got players to be creative and linkup what we need is a striker. We are depending and relying on our other players to score and not our striker . Thats stuipid. Id say Danny is better than torres in every aspect of the game except for defensive skills but we dont need a defensive striker... We need one that scores, moves in the box, creates spaces and puts some presure on the oppositions defense. Every other big team has someone like that upfront and Wei used to aswell. Torres needs to go.
-
I love you.
-
Sturridge up front. PLEASE.
-
What the?! I thought Ramires was brilliant and did more than well. And he has done ever since playing in the double pivot.
-
I totally agree. Sometimes you get the feeling that people think that we are flawless and just because we are alot better than when we arent in a dip in form, that we should just be satisfied. There are always things to improve and at the moment it is clear that we are without clear leadership without any of Terry, (Cole), Lampard or Drogba on the pitch. And once again, we are shown that we dont have the kind of strong, big moment guy that u can trust up ahead, but we got a 50m striker who is performing like he plays in the championship. I really got discusted by him this game, at several times he lost the ball because he was trying backheels and all other types of shit.
