Yeah, some people were, especially when it was announced that ramires and lamps would be in the double pivot. As I said a few days before the game, you shouldnt underrestimate teams but still there is a huge differance in our benched players and Nordsjaellands strongest first team. People were going on and on about what happened to United etc, but that I really didnt care of. Our squad this season is very strong and I refuse to stop believing in it.

Regarding Cech, its basically common sense. We havent got any strong players in the air upfront anymore. So we usually wont win those long balls.

Cant believe how many were worried or hesitant before this game. Anyway, I dont want to turn this into another Torres discussion but yet again he was pretty awful considering his role. Oscar for me was amazing, that kid has a tons of talent!

Guys relax, Ramires+lamps in the douvle pivot will work excellent against Nordsjaelland. I predict this game to end 5-1

I understand what you mean, but my opinion is that you do not always (not even close to always) need defensive minded wingers. Especially not considering the type of football we are starting to play. I believe that we have solid defence, when we play the right players in the double pivot; Ramires+Mikel, Romeu+Ramires, Romeu+Mikel even etc. Plus Mata and Oscar are often rather deep to get the ball, and they dont create many fouls...I dont get why you even say that. Yeah, against some teams and under some circumstances we are better off playing players like Moses and Bertrand even on the wing, but in most cases (from what I have seen so far) a team like below will probably be and is our strongest: Cech Iva - Cahill - Terry/Luiz - Cole Ramires + Mikel/Romeu Mata - Oscar - Hazard X

I very much doubt Marin will START that game when he hasnt played in a while and wasnt even on the bench last game. However id like to see him come on for about 20mins or so and perhaps start the Norwich game

Did you read the last part of what I wrote? Obviousley not, or you didnt get the message... Nordsjaelland IS practically a harmless team for us, on paper. And yeah, anything can happen in a game. But fact still remains, our bench-players should take care of business. Im not saying we should play reserve team players, but some people were getting all mad about the fact that we dont need to play our absolutley strongest team against them. Fact is there are alot of games ahead now, and we have to rotate. And when facing a lower team we have to rely on our benched players.

Because as I said, that team will do wonders, especially against a lower team. The technique, quick passing and dribbling we will get with those players will be beautiful to watch. And regarding Hazard as false #9: And even if Hazards finishing hasnt been the best in Chelsea, just look at Lille. Plus Moses, Mata and Oscar are all able to score goals aswell, and basically any player. We've seen our defenders prove helpful up there (Ivanovic) etc...

If danny isnt fit, I would like to see: Cech Cesar - Cahill - Luiz - Bertrand Ramires - Romeu Moses - Oscar - Mata Hazard I think that team would do wonders against Nordsjaelland.
