It wasn't just Anelka who didn't play well yesterday. Our midfield sucked. We play with 1 striker mostly so no I don't think we need to buy another.

Hope to see Di Santo in the starting line-up. He played better than Anelka did yesterday...

How can they prove themselves if they (the youngsters) don't get chances? I'm happy Di Santo got to play for about 30 mins today. Sinclair got about 5 mins so I'm hoping he'll get more soon.

I don't think we should buy just because of that. We should try to find an old good striker and have him on loan for a few months. That way the youngsters would (hopefully) get chances, too.

We don't always play difficult team week in, week out. The key players can be rested when we play small teams so they'll be fit for the big ones. If we always look to buy, then there's no point recruiting youngsters with potential. We'll go outside and buy proven players anyway.
