TBH, we should never have bought Ivanovic so I don't mind if he's sold. Ferreira would be a better option to be sold tho' as Mancienne can play RB. And we can say goodbye to Sinclair if we do go after Schweinsteiger...

The 3 I mentioned have only played a few times so far so I think we'd be okay without one of them. The vacancy can be taken by Mancienne when he comes back, too.

Better yet, let's not sign anyone at all and off-load either Ivanovic/Alex/Ferreira.

Yes, either Ivanovic, Alex or Ferreira should be sold so Mancienne won't leave. If this really happens, it'd send out a message that we do give our academy youth chances, too. Which I'm sure will make us more attractive to future 14-16 yo with potential.

I'd really like to see us blooding in the youngsters we have instead of buying from outside. We invested quite a lot for them so what's the point if we'll never use them anyway. It won't look good to future14-16 yo if we don't start giving chances, too. They won't want to come to us as youth players knowing we won't ever give them chances.

How can he make any impact if we don't give him chances? I'm sure JT and Riccy isn't much better than him at the same stage. I think he played a lot as RB when he was on loan in QPR. I really hope AC Milan make a move for him (Ivanovic) in Jan. Like you (and I) said, Riccy will be off in a couple of/few years and Mancienne can step up for us then. Which means Ivanovic or Alex has to go as Mancienne won't get chances and will leave if Ivanovic or Alex doesn't. Or we can sell Ferreira and make Ivanovic our 2nd RB and Mancienne our 4th CB.
