Caicedo has done well in this game.
-
Jackson finally breaking his drought. Hopefully he can finish this season with a flourish.
-
Well, we won't get any good out of James or Gusto if they're always being made to invert into midfield.
-
I guess in Maresca’s setup, Cucurella is the only FB who gets to play in his natural position. Even if James miraculously puts his injury troubles behind him, he'll probably start pushing for a move soon.
-
Maybe he has the right intentions. But he definitely needs to learn to say the right things. The stuff he said in past conferences, about the weather and fans affecting his players, all that feels a bit amateurish. To be fair, he said he's also learning. And for better or worse, that's were Chelsea is at. The owners, the players, the manager - everyone is learning on the go. Just hoping they all learn the right lessons.

The sooner these clowns realize that Fofana is a crock, the better. In their mind, no doubt he is their star CB., and the main reason we haven't gone after a serious experienced CB target in the past 2 years.
-
Disasi would like to have a word with you.
-
Remember all those stories we used to hear about Lampard and Drogba staying late after training sessions., simply to work on their shooting with both left foot and right foot? Yeah, I don't think Jackson does that.
-
Even if Jackson is the Maresca’s perfect forward, he needs some kind of reliable backup or competition in the striking department. Nkunku had downed tools. We need someone either with plenty of experience like Giroud, or a proven talent.
-
By virtue of goal difference we should be above Nottingham forest. But our clownshow tactics and lineup have resulted in us throwing so many points to the wind, in all our easiest fixtures. And now we have to climb a mountain to make our last game of the season, against Forest, have any value.
-
Any guesses as to why Cucurella, the previously derided LB of ours, is now a star performer., while previously quality full backs in James and Gusto are looking like shite. I wonder which of these 3 full backs are being made to invert or play out of position.
-
Stroke of luck. If Caicedo was going to miss the next 2 games, that would have been our season done and dusted there.
-
Things started turning around for Arsenal when they struck gold with their CB pairing and backed it up with a decent GK between the sticks. Unfortunately for us, the bone-headed directors in Winstanley and Stewart don't see the back line as a priority and keep thinking all problems will be solved when the ever-injured Fofana somehow returns to the line up.
-
I wonder how much learning is needed for you to recognize that the PL fixtures should have higher priority than your conference league matches. Guy is talking like he is playing in 3 different competitions.
-
With the way Maresca has setup the team in the last 2 PL fixtures, it feels like that's the way he wants it unfortunately. Probably doesn't want to play in the CL, given that he could get found out there. Club world cup will be a nice litmus test, though.
-
Young forward currently out with an injury you say,... No doubt the blood hounds Stewart, Winstanley and Eghbali are out on the prowl, sniffing.
-
4 points thrown into the drain by Maresca, within a week. No doubt he will whoop and cheer when the club progresses to the next round of the conference league. Whatever. We can clearly see that the squad and the manager aren't ready to seriously challenge in the CL. Let's just hope we don't lose any existing talent like Palmer in the next window because of the lack of CL on offer.
-
He seems to be always concerned about the environment. Last weekend it was the weather, this weekend it's the fans. Next weekend I guess it might be the cut of the grass.
-
Against City too recently. United have now become our biggest hope. We are likely to draw the game against them though. As usual.
-
Yeah, he will likely pass Pochettino on points. Mission accomplished for these owners.
-
Winstanley and Stewart have been a getting a free ride. Nothing valuable in terms of contributions from them.
-
No doubt a failure at different levels. Curious to see where this team finishes come end of the season. Probably 6th and with a few points more than Pochettino last season. Would still be seen as progress in their eyes.
-
Is it still in our own hands? Newcastle have 2 games on us.
-
They're kids. It's the directors who setup this squad bringing in weak fodder like Sanchez and Disasi, destroying any championship mentality we had. The Chelsea back line they've set up reliably concedes goals and chances every game.

Neto had time and space to put that shot on target. Terrible effort.
