The passing out from our third of the pitch has been poor all game.
-
Wooh Sanchez
-
Hopefully no Sanchez red card
-
Great. Nearly our entire back line on yellow cards
-
PL and PMGOL using their weapon Taylor when we're at our low point. Very clever. Bunch of snakes.
-
A yellow card for that?! Fucking Tayor and his mediocre refereeing
-
Our wingers have it all to do, if we need to get anything out of this game.
-
Well done Palmer and Madueke
-
Sucks about the RB situation. Disasi is a poor outlet to get the ball out of defense.
-
Too many turnovers, with poor decision making in passing. Team needs a reset.

This was likely going to be the case when the club was taken over by a consortium. Explains everything. First window was filled with overpriced big money signings like Koulibaly, Fofana and Sterling (when Boehly called the shots), and complete reversal in the other direction when Eghbali & Clearlake took over proceedings., halfway through that first season. It's been a mess both ways. Constant reshuffling, chopping and changing at all levels, from top to bottom. No wonder we don't have a shirt sponsor. Embarrassing for a club at this level. Whoever thinks that this was all part of some of grand, well throught-out plan is really drinking the kool-aid.
-
Good point on the CB line too. Fofana tried to support in this game by moving up further front to support the attack, not quite Rudiger levels, but still enough to provide an extra body in attack. The passing from the deep midfield and center back is not as ambitious enough, yet, IMO. I think Maresca might seek to improve on this
-
Wow. Maresca really calls it like it is. No BS. Really like that from the manager, but can't imagine it wins him too many fans up top.
-
Had one glorious run in the game where he had the Palace defenders at his mercy, but produced a weak effort at goal. Hope Maresca makes Felix channel his ability to create openings for other players instead of trying to do everything himself. Not saying he can't finish a move himself, like he did against Wolves, but IMO he is at his best drawing defenders and creating space for other decisive attackers like Palmer.
-
Plus in the second half, Crystal Palace did a good job of forcing Palmer to drop back too deep to receive the ball, where he would have a tougher time influencing the final third. He is our strongest (and sometimes our only) creative outlet. IMO, it was a mistake to remove Neto, even if Mudryk wasn't terrible. Felix was also ineffective. And Madueke dropped off. Hopefully with Neto & Sancho settling in, and Nkunku gaining some match sharpness, things can improve in future games
-
Clearly just a profit maker. Which is still good. No wages paid., and still turned a profit.
-
I hope he doesn't fall prey to their shenanigans.
-
Sanchez positioning really awful. So off center, he never gave himself a chance to save that
-
I'm liking Fofana's little forays into enemy territory. Makes a big difference if a CB can add to the attack
-
Well done. FA and PGMOL gave Palace the chance to get rid of their red card target., before he ruined their grand plans
-
Wtf...how is this Hughes character still on?
-
Hope Colwill's knock is nothing serious. Good first half nonetheless. Could have been 2 goals further up than just the one too. And of course, another consistently inconsistent referee. What's new?
-
What a sweeping move. Madueke taking his form from last game., genius pass by Palmer. Seems like Enzo is also better adjusted in this role, as 2nd CM.
-
First win in the Molineaux in 5 years. What a way to do it.
-
Madueke still working hard. 10/10 performance, regardless of the free kick give away
