  1. Cliche, but: "Good players practice to avoid mistakes, professionals practice until they can't make mistakes" "Work ethic eliminates fear" - MJ Notice how neither Drogba nor Lampard went through these kinds of rough patches in their careers where they kept missing chance after chance? There's a common theme there, and that's because they used to put the extra hours in the training ground...practicing free kicks and shots...both left foot and right foot. Alvaro has the tools but he just needs the right mindset and attitude moving forward. He says he says has the inclination to do things right as the number 1 forward. Its time he puts it into action. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5451059/Chelsea-stars-Eden-Hazard-Alvaro-Morata-hit-gym.html
  2. Shorts in winter...Azpi is proper Chels. Taking after Lamps and JT
  3. Honestly, Willian and Hazard work so well together...its mainly because they have such good chemistry. Would even say Hazard loves playing alongside Willian more than Fabregas. To top it of, they BOTH love the club...just wish they had someone with steel to back them up. Right now its just Azpilicueta in defense. No one in attack, atm.
  4. Pedro to an extent. But he's 30 and pushing it. So is Willian as a matter of fact. We should be going in for another winger
  5. Interesting that he doesn't mention his own teammate DeBruyne despite the guys laying on goals and assists this season. You can call Hazard WC or not...doesn't matter. For as long as he plays, he is the single most important player for Chelsea
  6. Team needs a win soon. Morata needs a goal Bit of negative spiral since the Arsenal game And that shitty feud with Mou. Thankfully Norwich at home, and Brighton are next on the agenda. Despite the results, the agenda hasn't changed much for this season. Cup competitions and fight for 2nd/3rd at minimum.
  7. He wasn't playing well today...but even a tired Eden and Cesc should not be subbed before someone like Bakayoko or Morata today.
  8. Hopefully this is the end...at least until the Old Trafford match. Press will be gleefully waiting for another salvo. They'll be asking Conte about this in his next conf. Hope he shuts them up.
  9. All I can say is he is the difference maker. The performance of the team when he's on and when he's absent is like comparing night and day.
  10. People talk about a team with 11 Azpi's, but what we really need to get going is a team of 2 Hazards. Honestly what I would give for just 1 player close to his attacking caliber in Jan, who can take part in combination plays... The thing is with Willian, Pedro and Fabregas moving out of their prime, they are no longer performing as well as they did last season. This is where we are coming up short at times, and the Everton game is a good example of that. Having Morata combine with Hazard makes up for it somewhat, but Alvaro is still young and inconsistent.
  11. Hope he didn't wax his head or something. Miss the locks
  12. Well if not Mahrez, I hope we get someone of similar caliber or better. If you saw Pep's reaction today to the Sanchez question, there are signs that they already have something lined up. Not that anything that City does matters much these days...
  13. It was indeed a flop show in the transfer market this term, but how is that down to Conte? (barring the Costa debacle of course, and I know you're no fan of Diego)
  14. Well honestly, I think its about time he got rotated with Michy. Been lacking sharpness in the past few games. Would have rested Hazard too, but we are shite without him...so.,
  15. Conte is forced to start him every game due to lack of options. Hazard starts playing each game at less than optimum efficiency. Today he had to struggle even more, because our brilliant defense allows us to go behind in the 6th minute itself. Forced to break down a ten man West ham wall for the entire match. Congratulations to all, but most of all a big thank you to the stupid FA and their **** broadcasting partners that decided to make this our second consecutive early kick-off following a European fixture on Wed. No conspiracy here, its just blatantly obvious whats going on.
  16. Conte seems to be rotating the central midfield pretty capably so far. Everyone, apart from Kante that is. Interesting to see if he can come up for a solution for that one. Luiz + Bakayoko/Drinkwater, maybe?
  17. Seriously though....B2B role in 3 man midfield is what suits him. Kante shielding the defence, Fabregas doing the chance creation, and Bakayoko for the mayhem. Would hesitate to say that its the same as Lampard-Essien-Makelele, but this works for me.
  18. Yeah....so about trading Matic for Bakayoko,.
  19. Just give him a red cape, and he looks like Superman on the pitch in this kind of form
