I'm with you on that mate. I've said before that at this stage each game is like a cup final and the boys will want to play every minute. Can't lose to le arse again.
yeah , in fairness its a fair assumption to make that barca will score at theirs because they have been prolific there but they really don't have a good record against us. Can't wait
I never said barca would definitely score! I posed the question what if they score and my post wasn't advocating the defence or offence, just stating the quandary bobby Di faces.
its a stick or twist match really. Hard to know what to do because I think the element of surprise could work as barca will be expecting us to do the whole defensive thing again. Maybe hit them all out attack from the kick off for a while to shake them up or as you say stay with the tried and tested defensive style. But what if they score? Do we sit back and try and get extra time and pens? Bit risky
I honestly wouldn't change much, same as I said about the FA cup. These big matches require big players and big players respond favourably to these run ins.
got to admire iniesta and his team mates. So trained are they that they can hold off the likes of big gaz until their big toe is inside the box and then they fold like a house of cards
Imagine going to JT aka ironman to complain about a sore wrist...this guy plays with broken ribs and takes kicks to the head for fun mountain man, do one
Also ive been beating the drum for big Gary since be arrived against the 'hes just a bolton player' critics and can I just say what a performance from the big guy. Full faith in him
1 more thing, there has been a few disparaging posters on here recently giving super frank the cunt treatment. Well just look at that pass to rambo for the goal...just look at it, pricless.
And another thing, robbies tactics were spot on. If that had of been Jose the media would be strumming themselves to climax so let's hope bobby Di gets the credit he deserves tonight
