  1. Yeah right. As if we're going to include Anelka as part of the deal.10/10 for trying, you thick scousers!.
  2. A meaning-less International friendly in what should be a midweek reserved for 'possible' FA Cup replays. Yup folks, that's FA mentality for you.
  3. Morelike Gerrard to send one of his scally mates and rob Torres's house if he didn't stay. Either that or Gerrard told Torres he'd let him have his missus for the night if he stays. Conspiracy theories eh?
  4. Bit harsh to say Drogba was faking injury today. He took a little knock and was just trying to run it off.Even Craig Burley was accusing Drogba of 'play acting' along with the booing of the Everton fans. Cunts!!.
  5. FA Cup replays are normally played 10 days after the original tie and on a midweek as well. Looks like it's so ESPN can show it.
  6. Kalou gets important goals for us.He's the ideal super-sub.I'd like him to stay at Chelsea, though i do respect and understand the criticism that some people on here have given him. Ramires is getting better and better and has got me hapilly chewing my words as those who follow me on FB and twitter know how harsh i've been on Ramires since his arrival at SB. Sometimes it's good to be proven wrong.
  7. Kalou sure saved our bacon,as well as Ramires and Cech. Not a good performance, nowhere near Monday night's but we're slowly still getting back into the swing of things and i guess a draw is a fair outcome. Should beat them at the Bridge.
  8. Thank fuck for that. Now let's go for the kill.We certainly can do without a replay.
  9. Fuck me-has Howard Webb swallowed the commonsense tablet today?
  10. Slightly sloppy in the 2nd half.Brilliant block from Ramires though.
  11. Hello Jack.I don't think pubs will be showing the game as it's not on sky,but i'm sure you can watch it online. One site i use is www.atdhe.net .Hope that helps fella and welcome to our humble abode btw.
  12. Our ideal signing would be Andy Carroll, which just could happen. This boy is going to increase his goal tally season by season and knows himself that he will only stagnate at Newcastle. There's an Ipswich player too that everybody is talking about too. While overseas,Auguero or Pato would be good signings. Eventually we will need replacements for Drogba,Lampard etc but it has to be the right replacements and more importantly the replacements must be sanctioned by a manager that has stability and confidence from the boardroom. I thought Roman would of learned from this by now.Obviously not!. True.We should of signed Torres 5/6 years ago when Athletico Madrid put him up for sale.I think Jose wanted to sign him as well.
  13. I can see why Chelsea could be interested in Torres.(a) he's settled in England, albeit a different City (b)he's proven, knows the premier league like the back of his hand.So need for adjustment or a player whinging like a 5yo that they're 'homesick'. This has got to be Ancelotti's decision, and judging by Ancelotti's vibes in his press conferences, this doesn't seem the case. I just don't want us getting mugged off in this transfer.
  14. Torres was more or less a spectator at the World Cup due to injuryTorres has hardly featured this season due to injury. And you say he's not injury prone? Ok,maybe age hasn't helped. But £40m for a player that's lost alot of pace is a big risk, especially at this stage of the season. The irony is that we do sign Torres and he fails the medical Go figure.
  15. Gourlay is a cunt and couldn't even deal a pack of cards. Our best CEO was Colin Hutchinson.Always got to the point,NEVER lied to the fans and always knew how to play down media/press speculation without making a fool out of himself. Our current board are clueless, spineless and all need to go,and go NOW!!.
  16. Big risk taking on Torres.Nowhere near the player he was 5/6 years ago, plus his injuries have been too many this season. Has only had one really outstanding game this season, and the less about that, the better!.
  17. Most adverts are annoying and doesn't actually get to the point of the product involved.Instead they use 'celebrities' as the ploy to sell the product..For example Does Jamie Oliver shop at Sainsbury's? I rest my case. Funniest advert though has to be money supermarket, only for that Alexi Sayle lookalike. He's a nutttah you know!
  18. I've never had a bad word to say about Mandela, but come on peeps,he is 92 and if it is close to his time to go to the great gig in the sky, then so be it. Mandela was one of the decent politicians who actually cared about his people.Meanwhile our very own Mrs Thatcher is still breathing. She is one who won't die of a heart attack, considering that she doesn't have a heart!.
  19. Possible banana skin for us here, more so with it being an away cup tie.Everton will miss Cahill massively as well as the departing Pienaar.Chelsea, also may go under-strentgh as we have Sunderland on Tuesday,a game that will be all about payback as well as keeping on the heels of the gruesome threesome above us atm. We should scrape this by the odd goal.I'd be more confident if the tie was at the Bridge. Everton 0 Chelsea 1
  20. I forgot to mention that G.And there's only one winner if you try to take on the power that is Rupert MurdochStill, good riddance to Sky's answer to Hinge & Bracket! All we need now is to get rid of Ant & Dec and those 2 Paddies with the stupid haircuts. Sorry for my ignorance but i don't know their names!.
  21. I still see you leave no stone unturned Ollie
  22. Maybe not a good idea to take Jose back and not very likely this will happen as Jose has been bitten before by the Chelsea hirearchy. Would you go back to your partner if they shat on you one time too many? Once bitten, twice shy folks! Jose will stay at Madrid then probably end up managing the Portuguese national team.
  23. While i'm not shedding any tears over Andy Gray's sacking,i can't help believing this is one major stitch up. Imagine the amount of money in wages sky would save if they could get rid of Keys and Gray?.And let's face it,anyone could do their job on much less money as well, and anyone can operate those touch screen machines that Gray used for the MNF. Sky just needed the next sxcuse to get rid of them, and this was the ideal moment to strike. I'd bet my months wages that Jeff Stelling or Dave Jones takes over from Keys and J Redknapp gets the role of No1 Co-commentator. And we'll all live hapilly ever after!
