  1. We will get someone else, stop complaining.
  2. Not the best attacking performance, but defense was awesome. Very important 3 points.
  3. Just have to retain possession like we have been doing, get another and put this game to bed.
  4. 1. Why are Liverpool and Arsenal after him? Because he's unhappy and will strengthen their attack, same applies to Chelsea. 2 and 3. Villa can challenge Torres for the CF spot and put him on the bench. 4. If we don't have many other options then you can't blame them for settling for a 'reject'. Throughout this time i thought if we didn't get Falcao we could at least get Bony, but then i remembered about ACN and his involvement will mean we only have 1 striker till February. So Villa actually makes sense, because there really isn't that many options in January. 5. I think this does not concern Torres. This is about strengthening our attack. Only people obsessed with Fernando think every fucking thing Chelsea do is somehow related to him. If we sign Llorente, it must be because his name is also Fernando and he's Spanish just like Torres, smh. 6. Of course Torres is going to stay, he's not the one with 6 months left on his contract.
  5. Lmao, the Sun. I can see Lampard leaving in the summer, but definitely not in January, when we will also be without Mikel and have Romeu injured.
  6. Haha that is true, we just have to wait and see really.
  7. Nothing can be done about the clause till a new contract is signed, with a new contract the fee could go up or be removed. As for Falcao, i think he already said he would like to stay at Altetico till the end of the season, so if he was approached - he would tell the buying club the same and they will have no choice but to wait.
  8. What the fuck? i hate how some people have to link everything to Torres. We're not the only club interested in getting Villa - who's unhappy at Barca - on loan.
  9. There are various reasons for having a release clause, from trying to discourage other teams from pursuing the player, to offering the player a way out if things do not work out. Like Ba had at West ham i think.
  10. It's not that simple. A lot of players have release clauses but still haven't moved, because a club can't just go around meeting clauses when the player has no desire to move.
  11. DM says he's on 110k a week atm. I read on Marca he was one of the high earners at Barca, but they didn't give the figure.
  12. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2253057/David-Villa-Chelsea-loan-target.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Daily Mail says we want him on loan.
  13. Haha some people will be really happy with that. I have softened my stance on him, because i can't think of many other options in January. Barcelona did say recently he won't be leaving though, but he could always force a move if he's that unhappy.
  14. I'll give him 7.5-8 on all 3. He's not the biggest but I've seen him score some nice headers.
  15. Quite an impact indeed, 16 goals in 18 games already. He has great movement and a good finisher like his stats show. The problem is he doesn't play in such a strong league, but definitely worth the gamble imo.
  16. I don't think we will buy Bony because he will be off to ACN in January and we will have just Torres till Ivory Coast go out - which will probably be a while since they're likely to get to the final again.
  17. Mata has definitely been far better the past 2 seasons and he's younger, so there's really no comparison. But what Sneijder did that Treble winning season for club and country was just special. His performance at the Bridge, majestic. I can't believe Messi beat him to Ballon d'or that year. He's been injured a lot since, but if he can stay fit, whoever gets him will be getting a player of real quality.
  18. Sneijder is an excellent player. It is sad what has happened to him since Mourinho left, but i think he can rekindle some kind of form at another team. We don't need him though.
  19. this seems to be an obvious comeback for those who defend Sturridge on here. Whenever anyone disagrees, that person must be a "Torres fanboy" or in this case "hugger" lmao. Anyway i'm not going to give a shit if he scores against us, just like i didn't when Sinclair did. It didn't change the fact Sinclair is an average player who wasn't good enough for Chelsea.
  20. I would like Marin to start also, hopefully he does better than last game, because we need him as an option - especially when Moses leaves in January. I'm sure Piazon will get more minutes now too, after doing well against Villa.
  21. Personally the only way i'll regret this is if he wins Liverpool the PL and CL. Anything else, meh.
